  1. I mean I’m sold man. I was 14 years old and went round to my first girlfriends house only to see her dad (an ex squaddie) standing in his conservatory with a CM.045 (15 years ago) that was my first introduction into Airsoft. I held it and instantly fell in love and eventually ended up standing in the back garden to feel what it felt like to get hit for the first time. Ive been after one of these for a while but another gun always came up. You my friend have tipped me over the edge and this will be my next purchase. Deep down I’ve always been an AK guy, and you know what? It’s ok.. Thank you. 😂
  2. I believe it’s a blue plastic one with no o-ring mate.
  3. Mmm I’ve heard good things too. Yea, I’m planning to change bucking and barrel but will see how I get on first. Tis a shame about the motor.. I’m guessing a SHS high torque will solve snappiness and trigger response tho. Please do let me know how you get on Sunday. How’s build quality? Also, I’m planning to slam a warfet in there and get pre-cocking going and turn it into a CQB / woodland beast’n.
  4. Hi all, Anyone had any experience with the above? (The newer version with blue internals) https://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric/cm-045a-cyma?from=listing&campaign-id=19 Ron
  5. Hi all,

Unfortunately I’m bowing out of our glorious sphobby due to the global health event swallowing my job.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve sold my gear off to stay one step ahead of the financial dip that I will be taking.

If others are experiencing this I am truly sorry that you’ve had to experience it and I completely understand the s***e position we find ourselves in.

For all you others that are fortunate enough to not be effected by the aforementioned event then hats off to you and I hope you all get out on your field as soon as it’s safe to do so.

The UK Airsoft scene is an amazing community and I’ve seen this by people offering to pay a little more on postage of items that I’ve sent out to them - whether it be a 5er or a 10er it really doesn’t matter.

It truly is that thought and action that matters and I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who has ever answered one of my burning s*** questions for me in my hour of need back when I didn’t know my bevel from my nub.

I’ll not be active on the forum as much as it’s too painful to see all the good stuff going on the classfields.

Take care to you all and hopefully I’ll be shooting at you soon.

    Kind regards

Sorry to hear mate.  Its hit all of us in various degrees.

I really hope things spring back for you.

At least things should get better once this is over.

*update* Back in employment, back in.

  6. Any ex squaddies out there who can still hear their old section commander in depot? “GET THAT F****** HANDLE DOWN”
  7. Haha my WHT on the GPMG lasted all of 10 mins... never even held one in depot and within a day of being at battalion I was lugging it around with 700 rounds and a spare barrel...
  8. Hey man, why you selling? I can’t play without mine!
  9. Hey there, I took the leap. I wear prescription glasses underneath my goggles and fogged up like a MF. Short answer to the question of functionality: yes, they do work. Are they 90£ worth of anti fogging goodness.. Hmmm, I played for 4 hours straight at the mill in Wigan and they fogged up once whilst stationary. However, not as much as my goggles used to fog up and it was to the point where I could see and my red dot was a lil blurry. So if like me and others on the thread: you wear glasses under goggles and you’ve simply had enough of fog and walking back to the safe zone (and got 90£ burning a hole in your dump pouch) then yea they’re worth it. I was sceptical, yet proven wrong. Overall good product and just by the skin of its teeth worth the investment. If anyone wants to see the set up I’ve got and how I use them just let me know. Ron
  10. Woo we got there! Un-bent the upper and epoxy’d the tab! All I need now is a new charging handle spring (may even cut it down) but again thanks guys. 60392870420__02C119D2-181B-491C-AE1C-0B8414A1647D.MOV
  11. Thanks guys, I'm trying to revisit it when I get a spare chance (just had a little girl). But i will faff with the receiver this weekend and let you know how I get on (if you care) haha! What an amazing community Airsoft has - You guys responded without delay to help someone out with a burning question. Big thanks to you guys.
  12. What do you suggest? A new lower or? I can’t find any lost parts. I could run it without the mock bolt but what’s the point in that haha. Can you sign post any videos?
  13. Hi all, Someone please kindly educate me on how to put the parts back into the weapon as they came out after cleaning barrel. PLEASE HELP !!!! I can get it back in but the charging handle doesn’t come all the way back and the mock bolt carrier won’t come back to reveal the hop up. 60357238193__7F29A703-91F2-41B0-9C8F-E1CF7E4DBB27.MOV
