However, I'll go over each part in detail:

 

Personally, I think the Springer Custom Works S-trigger is the best VSR trigger on the market. I also highly rate his piston and spring guide, but I have no experience with the Action Army ones so can't really make a comparison.

For cylinder, the Maple Leaf one is as decent a choice as any. I use a Laylax one and honestly you can just use the stock one, but the TM cylinder requires some precision drilling to open and to someone like me who doesn't have the tools to do so, I'd just say get an after market cylinder. I don't think there's a massive difference between various VSR cylinders.

M150 spring? Already said my piece on springs. 150 should do it, but don't be too put out if it runs hot. Just clip a few coils. I do think the Rapax springs are the best, but if you're getting a Rapax spring, you'd need a 9mm spring guide (Springer Custom Works do one, they also do a sleeve that goes on their 7mm one to convert it). The difference is 9mm springs are generally easier to pull back and when sniping you want to minimise as much movement as possible, but keep the movement you have to do slow and deliberate, so having an easy bolt pull allows you to pull it back slowly and deliberately, which is less likely to be seen than jerking it back.

No idea on the PDI hop chamber. PDI stuff is usually pretty damn good, but if it's built like the stock chamber then I'm not a fan. I way prefer the Action Army hop chamber and have it in both of my VSR builds!

Maple Leaf macaron is an AEG bucking, I believe? They're fantastic and I have one in my Cyma m14 build, but VSR buckings are the envy of the world, so I'd go for a traditional VSR bucking. Again, Maple Leaf are great for this and I highly praise the new silicone rubbers. I've got a silicone Autobot rubber in both of my VSRs and it's ridiculous. 80 degree in my HPA VSR (silicone ones are softer than regular) and 60 degree in my spring build with a weird hop arm that made an 80 degree send .48s into the stratosphere.

I've heard great things about ZCI barrels, though if they're bridged I don't like them for the VSR. As I said above, VSR rubbers are amazing, but they need unbridged barrels like a Laylax or Maple Leaf Crazy Jet, so I'd go with Laylax because I've had the same stainless steel barrel in my VSR for 12 years now. Barrel bore won't make a huge difference (I like 6.03mm as the middleground), but stainless steel will last a loooong time.

 

So an update on the build. I opted for an AA malamune cylinder, crazy jet barrel and an autobot rubber. I'm happy with how it operates and i've managed to keep it pretty quiet still. It's pushing 490fps but the joules are 1.59j that can't be right surely. I was hoping for over 2j with the rapax spring.

PDI chamber is meh, no need for the double bar system, it's more fiddly than it's worth. Grab the action army hop unit instead, much better and functions as a TDC without needing a TDC (you can still add one if you desire later down the line). Along with that you'll need a VSR cut barrel and a bucking, any nice stainless steel barrel paired with something like a Maple Leaf autobot/MR hop will be great, grab a panthera nub as well for a more even distribution of pressure on the hop.

 

When it comes to springs grab a rapax 2J (I've only heard good things about these) or a PDI 450, along with a 9mm spring guide of some variety. Makes the bolt pull a lot easier than a standard M150 due to the increased diameter of the spring.

Hi thanks for your input. Yes the tm has already been purchased. My train of thought regarding the pdi hop chamber was due to the fact i can use an aeg barrel and hop rubber and ive had great results using zci and ML that and i can get the barrels cheap from a local dealer. I shall take your advice on board and see what i can get price wise. Thanks for the heads up on the spring. That may have been the reason my as02 was so hard to pull as I used a m150 spring.

[Looking for Info Regarding Agm Mg43]

Hi i'm having trouble with an agm mg42. Certain parts have been replaced prior to me going inside. Ive fitted a new 14t shs metal rack piston and a e&c tappet plate. The problem i'm finding is it will not feed. Someone else has fitted a nuprol (so called) silent piston head and cylinder head. From what i have found the nozzle no longer travels back far enough for the bb to feed into the chamber. It has a stock nozzle so i'm confident the nozzle isn't the issue. I went for the e&c tappet as it was a direct match of that removed. Evidence leads me to believe the cylinder head is the problem as it doesnt sit quite right in the cylinder. Has anyone found the perfect replacement cylinder head?

Hi guys im seeking some clarification regarding fitting a mosfet into an aug. Ive drawn up a crude diagram before fitting but id like to be 100%. Has anyone fitted the peun AB++ to an aug. Ive fitted seceral perun into a v2 gearboxes but the full auto bar on the aug has got me stumped a little. Ive included my diagram.

Morning all fellow leviathan v2 users. Has any of you experienced issues with your device after installing firmware 1.30? My leviathan which is nearly a year old now has developed issues after the firmware update. Having been in lockdown for so long now i havnt had chance to use the leviathan for any prolonged period although it has been used at my little indoor range at work. It has been working flawlessly on firmware 1.26. Today i connecred my battery and linked to the app to find the error code filled with about 30 unfunctioning application messages. Im using the new 3.0.1 app and i keep getting crazy sequences of beeps and my mosfet temp is showing 503 degrees celcius and the motor start current has jumped up to over double. Nothing has been changed in the gearbox. Jefftron are saying i have a short circuit between the leviathan and the gearbox which i know isnt the case as ive split the box and checked every aspect of the device. Im trying to find out if im not alone in experiencing issues after the latest firmware update. Ive also experienced alit of issues regarding the new v2 rfts and the v3 rfts. Please share your thougts. Thanks 

[High ROF Problems Ssg Build]

Howdy yall iso info on a build please.

So i have recently been testing a brushless motor and ive come across a few issues some of which have been solved. I have a set of 18:1 gears and this brushless motor can really turn them at a great rate. On 7.4v im getting 23 rps and my range is still good with an fps of around 340fps. When i use the 11.1v im getting 37rps but my fps drops to about 270fps and the bb are dropping after about 10mtrs. I have modded the tappet plate and altered the length of the tappet spring. The gears and piston arent short stroked so im getting full volume from the piston and im baffled why the 11.1v is giving me poor range.

Hi all im having trouble getting the gate control station. My phone will not support the gcs so i purchased a nice new chromebook but the chromebook is telling me that the gcs is not compatible with that either. Is there away i can get it on my chromebook as from what i understand it is andriod and the app is android compatible. Is it just me doing something wrong? I cant even access gate website for some strange reason. I never had this trouble with the jefftron leviathan

Good morning all im seeking parts for a little project. Im looking to convert a standard spectre rdp so it has a m4 buffer and stock aswell as take a suppressor. Ive seen them done but cannot for love nor money find any of the conversion parts. Im also wanting to install something like a perun v3 but it doesnt use a selector plate so im wondering if the gearbox can ve moded to run a perun v3. Thanks

My bet is on the Nozzle and Tappet plate. Personally as you are very new to this, I would suggest taking it to an experience tech. 

The gun is now sorted. Turned out to be low compression due to a worn non original nozzle. Fitted a airsoftpro double or ring nozzle and it's all good now. It was a nozzle for a scar L so needed a slight mod to reduce the length due to the masada having an uncommon size.

Hi all my first time on a specific forum so please go gentle.  

so I have purchased a used MSK e03 aeg and from the start it was having feeding issues. On semi it would fire around 5/6 rounds then miss, another pull on the trigger and 1 round would dribble out of the barrel followed by a 2nd at a full pelt the same happens on full auto. Being a used gun I thought the hop rubber may be worn so decided to change it for a madbull blue and while I had it apart decided to also change the stock barrel for a nuprol 6.03mm barrel. I thought it would solve the issue but alas the problem is still present.  I'm not very experienced in dismantling aegs, replacing a motor and a hop rubber and barrel is probably about as advanced as is gets. Upon closer inspection I noticed that a small clip which I think holds the hop up chamber into the upper receiver looks to be snapped which could be the route to the problem although I'm not 100% on that (hop chamber is made of plastic and seems brittle) I'm looking for either a replacement or an upgrade on the chamber but I can't for the life of me find anything to replace it with or any parts for this particular gun. Has anyone experiencedone the same problem?  If so how did you fix the issue and where did you source your parts? I'm in the UK so hopefully I can get parts within. Many thanks.
