Happy. 160 people sign up to Coventry University Students Union Airsoft Society. 20 of them are regular paying members, the remaining 140 are non-payers who are interested enough to come play and will then hopefully, for a good chunk of them at least, outlay membership fees. Also got hold of three rental guns by the looks of things.

Basically, they wanted to try and discipline me for going way over their heads and making enquiries about why the Airsoc documentation, most of it legal and binding kept getting lost. Notably, I started using words like "discrimination" and "human rights", I also started talking about the press and various unions, I also got some police support. Really shouldn't try and backhandedly attempt to shut down a society I took a year to pull up to scratch for no reason other than "they look like guns". As for funding, we've got it covered

I'm happy because my local site asked me to marshal for them this weekend. I do volunteer to marshal, but usually it's a case of me volunteering to do it and they say "yeah, that's fine, an extra person wouldn't be a problem", I consider it quite an honor to actually be asked for my help - airsoft is a lot more to me than I let on, it's pretty much second only to photography (and even that I sometimes wonder whether it's top dog anymore), to be considered valuable in something that I could work in for the rest of my life is a great feeling. Also, I went to see the Students Union executive today. Turns out I'm very naughty and a massive pain, but I'm also damned good. Coventry University Airsoc marches on.

I won't divulge the secrets of what shoots I've got going on just yet, except one friend of mine has said she'd like to do something "candyland" inspired (Katy Perry's California Girls video crossed with no-need to keep it broadcast friendly). I *will* post some photos provided I get proper release forms and they follow the rules etc.

Happy because I've pretty much filled my photographic calendar till around February. Why is that so good? Most of the bookings are women. Attractive women.

Finius is always serious. But yeah, it's something I've wanted to do for years. It makes no real official bearing unless I choose to update my other legal documents with the name; but now it's on a deed poll I can do so if I wish without breaking the rules. Otherwise, it's more of a personal preference thing backed up by paper.

I added Finius, since everyone calls me that anyway, I plan to adopt it as my actual name at some point xD Bit silly really, but it's barely any money at all if you can do the paperwork yourself and can be changed again at any time! One title I've had for about four years, the other about three.

As per my latest adjustment (legal addition via Deed Poll), I have five names and suffix titles xD

The best one about student finance, is that if you forget your customer number, and can't reset online, they tell you to phone them. BUT, it's impossible to speak to anyone or do anything with them over the phone without the customer number. Endless cycle of silliness. Currently angry because I have to pack my room into the back of a Kia Ceed. BTW, hubert, I got two AWESOME kills with my L85 last night, 50m+, single shot, two lads; when I got back to the safezone one of them goes to me "we were fine and dandy sitting out of range of everyone behind that mudpile till you showed up, we knew we were ****** when we saw that bloody L85 of yours"

Looking good! I've been adjusting my rig tonight; much tighter around the waist and I haven't lost too much molle-space (still got everything on there, and oddly, with more room to spare). My only issue is that my pistol is now right at the front of the rig, in the middle, it's a bit low down and I'm not sure it's very safe for my usual thing of diving onto the floor, not sure what to do about that. Also a bit loose at the top of the holster, needs some cable ties wrapping round it to tighten it up so it sits flatter...
