  1. Cam, I do indeed work at a turkey farm. Wasps don't like Thermobarics btw, just a little pointer for anyone interested.
  2. Swatted a mozzie just as it was trying to stick its sucker in me. That'll teach you for drinking my tasty, tasty, extremely rare blood. Also, we have bronze turkeys at work. They're better than the white ones, cooler to look at (they look like little penguins).
  3. Lol, I remember when my voice was breaking...I sounded seriously camp half the time, and like I should be in radio the rest of the time. It'll be 'reet Cam, at least you don't work on a turkey farm...
  4. Cam, you sound very unhappy. Inability to find the molle kit I want is making me sad panda, and also enraged panda.
  5. Since last posting... Attended several skirmishes at my old site, everyone remembered me, despite it being three years. Feels like I never left, and reminds me why I've never loved any sport like I love airsoft. ICS L85. Upgrades for L85. Torso grouping at 60m+ as a result of upgrades. Internet comes back. Everyone wins. Mikado. Mikado. MORE MIKADO. NOMNOMNOMNOM. Loads of overtime at work = more overtime pay per week than my normal weekly wage. Finius is a happy man.
  6. BT roll out an area-wide upgrade to fiber-optic, forget to install fiber-optic cables in the area. Promptly knock everyone off the internet. Destroy the old hardware used for pre-optic, then do nothing for a month before trying to force us to pay for the old hardware to be brought back, once they find some. I hate BT. I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to the Mother of every BT staff member.
  7. Just installed Windows Live Essentials and it's stopped MSN working. This is making me rage.
  8. Breakfast sludge! 2 Wheatabix Freshly made tea (no milk in it yet) A scoop or two of coffee Sugar to taste A good dollop of cinnamon Milk if you want it Mix it all up in a mug, and imbibe. I promise you, it'll blow your head off with the yumminess and keep you tweaked for hours!
  9. Working with an ex recon Grenadier Guard at work atm, having some good conversations about awesome military hardware, that was making me happy earlier. (He was telling me about how they used to drill FFE; they'd have nine barrels, fire 20 rounds each before the first shell hit the floor (180 rounds in the air on the way to target), the resultant fireworks must have been something).
  10. We've got an angry thread, so I thought, I know. We need to equal out this negativity, and have a happy thread too! This thread is for those of us, who are just a little bit happy. Let us discuss what is, or generally produces happiness within thee. Now, I don't have an epic tale of man versus printer for you in this thread, because to be honest, I haven't forgiven my printer enough to attempt to triumph over it yet, so there's no happy ending there. But fear not, loyal forum members, for, I will tell you some things that make Finius happy. We will then discuss these things, and also things that make you happy too. Here are the top five things that are making me happy right now: 1. I'm going to have enough money from my extra week of summer work to be able to buy an L85 as my secondary AEG, as opposed to buying something I don't really want. 2. Fruit smoothies. My awesome diet of winning strictly forbids most tasty things. It does however allow fruit, fruit juice and blenders (the use of, not eating. PLEASE DO NOT EAT YOUR BLENDER). 3. I beat the rain home from work. I cycle to and from work (9 miles each way), and today, it started throwing it down with rain literally seconds after I stepped through the front door. Suck on it nature, I'm faster than you. 4. As well as earning enough from my summer job for my L85, there is around a 90% chance I will be able to afford to book tickets to Berget 10. One cannot possible exude in mere words the sheer winnery contained within this knowledge. 5. It's Friday. And that means I can stay in bed as long as I want tomorrow morning. It also means I can mock Rebecca Black. Thanks things, you're doing a good job What makes you happy?
  11. Totally with you on the music front. Classic rock for Finius.
  12. As a cyclist, my pet hate is other cyclists. When I was eight, my school forced me to do cycling proficiency. This was basically an hour a week for a whole term of cycle safety, from helmets, to how to fall off. I continued that and started riding a much more efficient bike (I got myself a road bike, swiftly followed by a carbon framed racer), and from then I have always observed proper road rules and highway code. People who don't do so (and the same goes for many motorcyclists), who do things such as weaving in and out of traffic, going over red lights etc, risk their lives, and it frustrates me that those people do it, time and time again and survive, and some people who are just in the wrong place at the wrong time are killed (very heated topic for me, for very personal reasons). Learner drivers aren't so bad, provided they're in a dual control vehicle. Or at least, as long as they start that way. It's the ones who's parents are insistent on teaching their kids themselves that are bad; they pass on bad habits and old technique from the off, it's not conducive to my stress levels on the way to and from work, and it's not conducive to the safety of your children.
  13. If you're lolling in your pants, you got problems. People who don't respond to emails. I'm trying to see if the service you provide is worth my money, as in, I want to give you money. How is that not worth a five minute email?
  14. People who don't appreciate penguins.
  15. We're going to be friends Hubert
  16. What about people who want a bigger paycheck, don't think they're disabled, but could probably make others think they were? Also, new ultimate Chuck Norris vs Mr T worldend inducing anger: biting the inside of my lip at work. Said lip swelling up, meaning every time I eat something, I bite it again. Proceeding to then, bite it again.
  17. People who don't know that mah printer has a setting to use black ink only Seriously though, good try I'm not a fan of the whole religion thing either. Nor am I a fan of politicians. Nick Clegg doesn't make me angry. He legitimately makes me hulk out (like, fo' real this time gangstas!); I wrote him a nasty letter a few months ago...
  18. People who don't understand that the quotation marks make it ironic! New anger; distinct lack of decent Krav Maga teachers in Grimsby.
  19. @Dev, is my sig okay? I wanted to put my build in without dropping the legal note out Guinea pigs I can get. What are they even? They're just fake rabbits. Football also. Crap sport. Frisbees are AWESOME. Fruit is AWESOME (Mostly all I eat now I'm on the training from RMR). People who don't like mah thread, don't like G&G and have either marskman or 556 in their names make me mad "Lol, jokes"
  20. U Mad? Edit: I really couldn't resist, very sorry
  21. So folks. This thread is for those of us, who are just a little bit angry. Let us discuss what is, or generally produces anger within thee. Today. I am angry about printers. They all need to be melted down, and the heads of all the respective companies that produce them should be forced to drink the resulting toxic sludge. Why I head you ask? So, I'm printing off the PRMC get-fit-to-apply guide, and my printer runs out of CYAN ink. Which is odd, this guide seems very black and white and not very CYAN, but I digress. My printer then flips out and is all like "lol, i kno ur tyna print in liek blk n white bt i no has cyan so u no has prnting" because it's an epson douchebag. So I I'm all like "C'mon guy, I've got work at 7 in the morning, this is gonna be my lunchtime reading, you're printing using black ink only, what's the problem?" The printers all like "hurrrr....derrrr...i no prntg til u giv me mah cyan inks!" At which point I hulk out all over the place and start piledriving my printer into the moon. (n.b. this may or may not have happened). Printer, after an epic beating is just like "hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....durrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...me derped!" And that's the end of it. I've got half this guide printed, another page wedged halfway through the printer, what use is that? Am I supposed to simply learn how to be HALF as fit as a royal marine applicant? I guess so. Thanks printer. What's making you angry?
  22. I always found them pretty easy to play; just use the walls of the racetrack for steering and you're set But no, physics weren't exactly a strong point of driving games on the PS1 xD
