Glad you like it! Probably going to stick with the curved mags. It's going to be used to fulfil a number of loadout/roles such as Delta, Blood Diamond, Pmc, CIA etc So its not going to a replica of anything specific, but an impression of a lot of things. Hopefully getting a 3d printed sight extension for the back of the Compm2 to mimic an earlier Aimpoint a bit more, and working on a flashlight holder to fit round the barrel at the front sight base. Paint to follow probably too.

I was going to say the same thing. Especially when the resulting item is barely longer than a suppressed pistol, so gives none of the advantages of a proper carbine

Yeah I wasn't impressed with my. Lighter S, it did the sporadic not working even though fully charged etc A couple of months ago I (stupidly) bought a Brighter C. Lights up BBs brilliantly. But the flashing LEDs when just idling (I. E. On but not shooting) were a huge beacon during a night game, so very hard to sneak about before shooting.

Viper VX buckle up chest rig with a dangler pouch, with an FRV Tailoring shooters belt. 3 x 200rd midcaps in rig, underwing pouch for the radio if using it. Speedloader and bbs in a bag that stays at the respawn for each game. Belt has pistol, spare pistol mag, 140 round midcap for speed reloads, Dynatex impact grenade, dump pouch, knife and a medium utility pouch which usually has a spare battery, revision wipes etc in.

Just what I am wanting to hear. Noticed that brownells are now out of stock of those handguards, with no backorder available either. Really fancy the simplicity of a retro carry handle AR

Much better. Any issues fitting? As I am looking at the CM009E in the near future and this was a planned purchase.

Yeah it came with two barrel nuts (one for aeg one for gbbr) a few shims and all of the bolts needed etc. Once the G&G parts were off, it fitted no problem

Yeah, remove the G&G barrel nut as has been said and you can fit most aeg handguards. Here is mine with a Nuprol Bocca Rail

Wear what you want. Plenty of ex servicemen where I play who wear their old patches, deployment tshirts etc. Never seen or heard anyone victimised for wearing patches of units etc if they haven't served. Perhaps have the piss taken out of them in a friendly way but that's it. If someone turned up walting, by wearing them and trying to make out they served when they didn't. I am sure it would be a different case, but again We would probably just think "sad twat" At the end of the day, we are dressing up and running around with toy guns, it's a game, a laugh, and not to be taken so seriously
