I'm annoyed because I have to reference things in all my Uni work and I think it's a waste of time and totally pointless, plus finding the things I need to reference instead of just having it available from memory is a kick in the genital region and makes everything so unnecessarily difficult. 'Cos if I write something about a theory, I have to write where I got it from to prove I'm not stealing it, which would make sense, if it weren't for the fact that a) whoever marks my essay ought to know it's already an existing theory, know that I know it's already an existing theory and therefore deduct from that, that I'm OBVIOUSLY not FRICKIN' stealing it! And citing a reference to a book or the internet after everywhere I comment on a theory, makes it look like I just taught myself that theory in the last 5 minutes and didn't know it already, which ANYONE could do, and if anyone can find these things without having been taught them at Uni, why the flying poo am I paying £3375 a year if all it's doing is making it look like I'm here to teach myself about sh*t I find in books and on the internet?!?!?! And then, adding to that, if the money I'm paying to University is being used on nothing, because I'm teaching the degree to myself, then how the hell can anyone agree with the retarded, thick, greedy, rich, arsehole government when they say it'll benefit students to have to pay even MORE money to teach themselves their degree. It's honestly beyond beggar's belief. The Government is literally promoting the idea that upstanding British institutions should rob vast quantities of money from some of the poorest people living in the country. Without wanting to breach the no swearing rule, what the ******************************************************************************** *** is actually going on? Edit: God damn, that cool face has just totally invalidated my argument by making it funny. Argh.

Back on topic, just upped my longest headshot distance to 847m, from top of the crane, to opposite end of the map's starting spawn point (well, near to it) on Operation Firestorm =D I'm determined to find out what the game's max range limit is, I'm going to guess it's around 1000m, but not all the snipers seem to be able to go the same distance. Can't wait for the L96 and the L85 on the expansion next week, I hope they've modernised them both though. An AW .338 and an L85A2 would be nice.

I got 3 Bs in science at GCSE, 2 Bs in English and a C in Maths, then a D in everything else, so I made bad choices at GCSE lol. Then at A Level I got an A in Sociology, a C in Psychology because I annoyingly got a U on the last module, otherwise I'd have got a B and a D in English Joint because I absolutely F***ing hated it lol.

I remember when I did Physics at A Level I did a mock and I did so little of it that I had complaints from the exam people saying I hadn't submitted a paper lol. Needless to say, I'd dropped it before Christmas, I was good at GCSE as well, the step up to A Level was ludicrous.

I don't know how obvious it was so I can't say whether it was a fail or not, sounds more like wishful thinking to me. But yeah, I knew that the PS3 got it a week early and I knew that I didn't have it yet, so it couldn't be out yet for all platforms lol. Thank god it's not too, otherwise I'd definitely be failing my Uni Semester 1 assessments xD

My brother... I have major assignments due next week and Mondays are my days off, so I was going to go in anyway and get some crazy amount of work done. But, once I'd done all the stuff around the house that needed doing, I went to leave only to realise my total twonk of a brother has taken the only key we have with him to school, meaning I'm stuck at home unable to do anything because I can't lock the door. If he says a single thing I dislike when he gets back I am going to hospitalise him, keep an eye on the news, you might see me on it in the next few hours/days.

I just came back from a day's skirmish at my site owners new site, which is pretty damn awesome btw, but yeah. At the start of the day, my mate's crap KA FAL started playing up, as per usual, so I stupidly let him use my MP5 for the day and guess what, after ONE GAME, it returned missing the charging handle! I acted like I didn't care because I figure it'll be easy to replace, but for the rest of the day everything he did annoyed me and I kept checking it for further damage after every consequent game, thankfully no other ailments were caused to it, but I could've punched him. Especially since he was adamant it wasn't his fault and he didn't do anything... But yeah, anyone know where I can get a replacement? It's just the protruding part that's snapped off, but I can't get at the hop without it... Plus I'm a realism freak and the real thing would be useless without it, so it's dead to me until I replace the part. Also, does anyone know how to get the broken stump out of the inside of the rifle and replace it with the new one when I get it?

I keep randomly losing connection to servers on BF3 and occasionally, when I do a server search for Hardcore servers, there are none... At all. What the hell is up with that? Also, I have three major assignments in for the 12th and I've not even looked at any of them yet... Is my lack of motivation a cause for concern, or is it normal?

Ah right, my bad, sorry. But yeah, I prefer the A4 to the A3... Don't actually know why, I just do lol.

M16? I'm talking about the L85. Besides, you can get an M16A4 as well.

I'm so crap with the 416, I don't know what it is about it but I just can't use it. My favourite weapons are the M16A4, the M249 and the M40A5, I used to play engineer a lot but once I unlocked everything I thought I'd best use some other kits for a change. Especially since the Karkand expansion's weapons are going to be added to the end of the unlock tree, so if you haven't unlocked everything by the time the expansion comes out you'll have to wait to use all the awesome new guns and for me, knowing there's an MP5, an L85 and an L96 and not being able to use them will just be torture lol. What is it with games and not having Sig pistols in them though? The old Conflict series and Medal of Honor 2010 are the only games I can think of that have ever had Sigs... Oh and Resi5, but why not Battlefield or CoD? They're one of the best sidearms in the world ffs, CoD should've bummed them to hell and back by now. 4000+ kills now, K/D sticks around the 1.87 mark, it's such a giant bitch to get it up to 2 lol. My longest headshot now is 818 with the M98B, apparently the furthest in the game so far is only 961. I've had a few times when I've been able to see someone and they've been able to see me but the shots just aren't reaching. I know because I flew my MAV up to somewhere between us both and the shots were just disappearing in mid air about 100m or so before they hit me, so there must be some sort of rendering issue or something at extreme ranges, I figure the guy must've been around the 1100m mark.

I think I speak for everyone everywhere when I say this - The fact that money exists. Wouldn't it be great if we all just had magic genies? I want so much stuff but can't afford any of it, so I'm sat deciding and deciding and deciding and I never get anywhere because I can't afford my decision regardless of what it is! I think we should make a pact on here, if anyone ever wins a bomb of money on the lottery, they should give £1000 to everyone on here as an epic Airsofting present. Deal? That's true, but if you manage to keep a positive k/d whilst going for the objectives then it shows you have epic skillz lol. I think my skill level on BC2 was basically frozen on either 199 or 200 because I didn't let my KD drop by more than about .05 over the last year or so before BF3 came out lol.

Anyone want to share kill to death ratios? I've got roughly 1900 kills and my K/D is 1.83, oh yeah *smug face* Determined to get it to 2+ though. On BC1 I kept it at a steady 1.75 and on BC2 it ended up being about 1.5 I think 'cos my brother kept playing... Also, whilst I totally agree with Dave regarding the torches thing, I have to admit I've done it quite a lot recently on Operation Metro, though I use tactical pistols, not shotguns... People who do that need to be hunted and killed in real life lol. ALSO also, I've played a few Hardcore games and I'm kinda disappointed, it doesn't feel like it did before, there's not really any difference between HC and Regular mode and I really don't like the map being there and I really don't like that when you have a laser, it doesn't point anywhere even close to where the shots go. In the Beta your shots landed on the dot of it every time, you could no scope snipe people so easily, it was mega satisfying, but now it's just like, well, what's the point in the lasers...?

719m running headshot with the SV98 is my best so far. Edit: Just saw Hubert's video post from the last page and now I'm crazy excited for the Karkand expansion, the L85 seems to have an Elcan on it... Meaning you must be able to pick your optics... Meaning you must be able to attach all the other stuff too! L85 + rails + grip + ACOG here I come!

Was it good? Weapon damage better? I just like having no hud elements, it adds a dynamic to it that I miss when I have to play regular mode. IRL you can't see your ammo count so why should games be any different? I think it makes you a better player, sometimes you might totally run out of ammo because you can't keep tabs on it and then you have to get good with pistols and knife kills so you can steal some ammo/weapons off the enemies you kill, it's great.

I think there needs to be way more hardcore servers, on the 360 there are only 6 and they're always full, it sucks arse. I only played Hardcore on BC2, 'cos the tag system is a load of bull and ruined it. Plus it takes way too many shots to kill someone on regular mode. It is good though, despite the lack of a real hardcore mode.
