Since B2K came out I've not seen a single Hardcore server for any of the original BF3 maps, I'm starting to miss them =[ Btw, if anyone wants a game on XBL, my tag is Bullet4MyEnemy.

Finally, you actually have to make a video of your lizard performing aforementioned awesome task. Does it have a name btw? Or is it just "My lizard"? Lol. My mate has a Tortoise called Dave, true story. ... Yeah, just thought I'd throw that in there.

This week just gets better, I've got an awesome L85 and have good plans for it, it's Christmas at the weekend and just to top it all off, I'm going to be getting a pristine G&P M16A3 with 5 mags and 2 batteries from a swap deal at some point in the next few weeks! If only my lack of caringness for my assignments could actually cause them to cease existing. 'Cos then it'd be the best week ever.

My ICS L85 just arrived. I already massively prefer it to the Ares, though the lack of trades is a slight disappointment, my fire selector and safety aren't even marked =[ Plus, I'm having feeding issues and over hop on .20s right out of the box... Annnd, the mid caps I bought off Nick don't go as well as I'd hoped and they look dwarfed against the ICS L85 mags the gun came with, they're ruddy massive, long things. Though I've already decided I'm going to get a hop twist barrel from Firesupport if they ever restock, I've been reading on other forums and it seems that so long as you stay within the 330 fps limit they're amazing and you can hit people at 200ft. Though there's debate about whether having a rifle firing at over the 330 mark and using heavier ammo to bring it into the uber accuracy zone actually works or not. Most people tend to say no, which is a shame, as I like having the extra punch to get through leaves and whatnot.

I'm still working on the PP-19 - I seriously frickin' hate Rush mode otherwise I'd have got it ages ago, still need suppression assists for the MG36 but everything else (apart from the Jackhammer, obv.) I've got now. L85 and L96 are definitely my favourite weapons, L85 is amazing, I just wish wish wish it didn't have a burst mode and was fitted with rails instead of the standard handguard... =[ I still managed to make it my 7th most used weapon in one day though, with over 200 kills. What rank are you guys at? I'm at 45 + 3, it's literally the only game I play though... I'm totally not sad or anything.

I think that M being to enlarge the map makes sense... M for map... The N though, "not the full map"? Lol.

Yeah, every button on the consoles already has a function as it is.

On console? If you can I haven't discovered it yet. Not without bringing up the full map on the 'pause' menu (if you can call it that) anyway.

I've been using the L96 with the silencer on and the bullet drop just makes me not like it, it's not worth using a silencer unless you're going to get up close and personal because it makes your bullet drop insanely stupid, the amount shots drop is pretty stupid already but with a silencer... The only benefit of them is that you don't show up on the mini-map when you fire, so unless you're within about 35m of someone when you're shooting you don't need a silencer anyway. You're better off using the flash supressor, that way no one can have any idea where you are unless you play normal mode with the crap ass kill cam. Still not managed to get a headshot over 1000m =[ I think I've got 2 or three kills at roughly 1000m if not more but they were on top of crazy high things so it was hard to compare the distance against the nearest base.

I've said it before, but we really need to get a Facebook-style "Like" feature on here lol.

I would love to take up Krav Maga, it's just about the coolest thing ever. But, the only place I can find to do it, costs £40 a month for free lessons. Which seems expensive to me, especially when every penny I have right now is being carefully counted towards my InCrediblySexual L85.

How'd you know it was at 1300m if you didn't get the marksman bonus to tell you? It's good to know shots can actually go that far though, I assume you were using the M98B? Hate to post AGAIN, but, I know how people have been getting crazy distance head shots. You use the blowtorch on the EOD bot and just drive it to some snipers that are miles away. I imagine it's pretty hard to do it still and might not even be able to happen unless you set it up, since snipers tend to go on top of things and lay down on uneven surfaces, but still, that's how it's been done at about 4000m or whatever. Also, I know that at least the L96 is capable of 1300 because I was shooting at windows and I could see them breaking and they were at a base marked 1300m away. So now all I have to do is get a headshot at that range =D

But yeah, Sheffield is just about the most hilly place on earth, apart from the Himalayas and I walk everywhere all the time, though that's mainly because the bus costs a small fortune, I cba to book my driving test and my bike needs fixing... Plus, Hubert, I've got something else that'll make you happy, I'ma buy an ICS L85 Today is a happy day, I've finished all my December Uni assignments, probably not to the best standard ever, but with one day before the deadline it feels like an extra special accomplishment lol. Time to celebrate by killing lots of people on Battlefield

Just unlocked the L85 and the L96 and they're both freakin' awesome =D Edit: The L96 really is amazing, I just out did my previous longest kill by a hell of a long way. It was 847, now it's 985 I could only see the guy's scope glinting and that was it.

I've been able to play on the 360 until just now, I thought my router had died but I think the servers are down. Though there are loads of them listed with full games going on, I just fail to connect every time I try and join, it's pissing me off. That said, I'm half way to unlocking the L96... apparently it's 7.62mm and looks like an AW .338... Well done DICE... But yeah... It's good when it works. Also, I seem to have miraculously unlocked a lot of the co op unlocks without having played co op... Dunno if that was part of the update or anything, but I've only got 3 co op weapons left to get now and prior to downloading the expansionI only had 1 gun from doing co op missions.

I'm in the crappest mood I've been in for years right now. Had a crap day, had a crap evening, tea was crap, pudd was crap, film I watched was crap, chat with the gf didn't make me feel any better, I've run out of booze, there's no milk, there's no sugar, there's nothing to drink at all... then I ended up having a convo on Facebook with someone I consider a mate, though who is rapid losing that status, about how utterly tragic Jeremy Kyle is regarding his show and being a human being in general, the guy needs slapping with a brick and my mate thinks he and his show are "funny and good hangover TV" I feel like he ought to be on the damn show saying crap like that... Might take up boxing or something, punching something would make me feel a lot better right now.

Just found this page - it might not open if you aren't signed into Battle log. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/about...ack-to-karkand/ But quite enormously annoying, is that fact that for some reason, the L85 appears to be for left handed people, which I don't understand, because this is the first Battlefield game since BF2 to actually have the weapon features on the correct side of all the guns. Why ruin it now with the best damn gun? It's like they're trying to annoy me. Secondly, it's an A1 not an A2 and thirdly, what the hell is with those damn little rails on the side of the fore grip? Why didn't they give it god damn rails?! You can't even get a SUSAT according to the blog. So you can't have it without the rails and with a SUSAT and you can't have it with the rails and an ACOG or Elcan either, it doesn't fit any L85 set up that's ever existed! D= They've just totally ruined the only real thing I was looking forward to in the expansion. This could just as easily have gone into the angry thread =[ The MP5 looks like it's chambered in an assault rifle calibre too, I don't like the HK53, I wanted the MP5! On the upside though the L96 does appear to be upgraded to an AW .338, which is awesome, but why'd they have to wrap some pointless stupid cloth around the barrel? That would surely just mess with the fact that the barrel is a free float... Dice need to wake up and do some actual research before modelling the damn guns. Or maybe I just care too much about things others find trivial, I can't help it.

Hmm, and you think your L86 would be as well if you hadn't modified it? I feel like I'm edging towards the M4 now. Why can't someone just make guns that are 100% flawless and not cost £1500?! I could pull my hair out trying to decide what guns to buy sometimes. I think I'm just going to go with the L85 and live with the consequences.

Thinking of getting the L85A2 after Christmas, just wondering if there's been an updated model or a better L85 released since you added this review. I'm guessing now, just thought I'd check. Also, would you say to go for the L85, or the ICS M4? I'm melting my brain trying to decide, I wish there was a review for the M4 that was this thorough. In fact, I wish the review section in general was a little more active, everyone on here owns guns, why has hardly anyone reviewed them?
