  1. If someone is shooting at you with something that can pen a Camel Bak, whoever is in charge of the chrono needs firing.
  2. The best deals have all gone now I'm afraid. £200 is likely the best price you'll find XPIs with comms.
  3. Recently, a load of new in box Comtac XP and XPIs were dumped on eBay for very cheap. I picked up some XPIs with mic and downlead for £160. I need to change the connector on the downlead to work with my PTT but still a bargain. So take a look, maybe make an offer on one that is on best offer and you'll get a pair of excellent ear pro for pretty cheap. Understandably, this has kind of tanked the market, even if only briefly so you might be able to get some used XPs for sub £100.
  4. Interesting. Thanks everyone. I asked Rainbow 8 if I could could get this https://www.rainbow8.com/products/maple-leaf-crazy-jet-aerodynamic-6-04mm-inner-barrel-w-hop-up-chamber-complete-set-for-marui-g17-97mm?_pos=19&_sid=1f5578248&_ss=r but put this hop rubber in it https://www.rainbow8.com/products/maple-leaf-2023-transformers-autobot-hop-up-rubber-for-vsr-gbb-60-70-75?variant=44559268413610 So I could get a 50 degree as 60 degree seems excessive. They replied saying it wouldn't work as the hop rubbers are different. So I thought I'd just get it and use the 60 degree that comes with it. I asked what is the compatible hop rubber to use when that hop rubber needs replacing and they said to use this one https://www.rainbow8.com/products/maple-leaf-2023-ver-mr-hop-rubber-bucking-for-marui-we-vsr-10-50-60-70-75?variant=45169997840554 A Mr Hop. Not an Autobot. Have I missed something or are they misunderstanding?
  5. Nah. Leave them be. It's very handy to be able to scroll back years of sales to get prices for things. Especially obscure, no longer in production stuff. I guess you mean sold rather than expired as plenty of stuff is still for sale on expired adverts that the seller just hasn't bumped. It literally says it might still be available...
  6. We should not be contemplating changing things for the sake of a few with room temp IQs that cannot comprehend what expired means. Leaving completed and expired sales posts is invaluable as already mentioned.
  7. Have you tried this out in the field yet?
  8. I have a couple of Gen 3 TM G17s and I find the hop up performance somewhat meh. I'm not trying to lift anything crazy, just 0.3s and it's just not doing it. I appreciate these are a little old now so I'm wondering if these are from a time prior to TM GBBs being able to lift 0.4s+ easily OOTB? Do I need to get a Mapleleaf chamber, barrel and hop set to get the most out of them?
  9. Just cover the cutout/s with something. A patch, bit of plastic etc
  10. I've not done it but it seems like it would be pretty straightforward with a 1913 end plate and a 1913 adapter for the Zenitco stock.
  11. I'm sure TM have been intently reading this thread and as such will be announcing a GBB Hi Power at next week's Shizuoka Hobby Show. It's on my vision board ha.
  12. There's a few users in the "What have you just 3D printed..." thread. They seem happy enough with them for the most part.
  13. The Beretta M92 is probably the best looking pistol man will ever manufacture. The Hi Power is a close second. https://www.specsavers.co.uk/
  14. I find you can generally find parts by searching "WA M4 GBB parts". You'll most likely have to order from HK but parts are still out there.
  15. I'm interested on your thoughts on the 1911. Do you think that's gopping too?
  16. I think their use with the SAS, CRW etc. Some iconic pics from the Iranian Embassy. When it came out, the increased mag capacity over the other 9mms made it stand out. Lastly, it looks damn cool imo. Just a classic JM Browning gun.
  17. A nice, rational response. Covering everything I was too lazy to type. Good job.
  18. Sure, we had the occasional smoke alarm check but there was not a single time where anyone went through my belongings, opened wardrobes etc.
  19. WTF? Random room inspections? Having a talk with people if they visit airsoft websites on the WiFi? Where is this uni? Nazi Germany? I couldn't imagine someone coming into my accommodation and rummaging through my belongings. Absolutely mad. I guess if you're unfortunate enough to live somewhere like that, just keep your RIFs in a box labeled "sex toys"
  20. It's unlikely that any university will allow Airsoft guns to be kept in halls of residence. Imo, just do it anyway. They're not to know if you keep it to yourself. Just keep them out of sight in generic boxes under your bed, in your wardrobe etc. When you move out into a house share, you can be a bit more open as hopefully you'll be with friends and not complete strangers that you'll be stuck with in halls for the first year.
  21. Toxicant's XM7 has an ETA of June but it's slipped before.
  22. They've been extremely dodgy in the past https://airsoft-forums.uk/topic/51450-sixmmcom-review/
  23. Beneficial to everyone I think. The number of times you step into the game zone and someone turns to you and asks, "what are we doing?" or "where are we going?" Which was literally just explained to everyone 60 seconds ago.
