  1. Looks like you are about to whack number 8 or 9 for the day imminently 😉
  2. My mate had one. range is average I’d say, maybe 35-40 m Its the weight and the limited ammo count in the mags that’s bad The drum mag helps, but you need to keep the button pressed to keep up with the ROF, which makes you hold it in an unnatural position
  3. Co2 mags hold the Co2 capsules , they are totally different internally to normal green gas mags IMG_2506.webp
  4. A couple of years ago I bought the newly released Asia Electric (WE) Sig P320 (m17) It did the same thing, badly designed and made hop unit which applied pressure at an angle instead of from direct top of the beeb If you remove the inner barrel from the outer, apply 50% hop , then take a look through from the hop end, is it square vertically? could be your outer barrel & rubber is slightly tilted to the side during assembly?
  5. Probably red wine anxiety
  6. Only just got this, but seen something else that tickles my fancy Im sadly on a strict “one in - one out) rule This is more a collectors piece than due to its age, I’ve been unable to find out when they were discontinued, but found out they were released in 1998 In solid condition, no cracks, just a bit of patina to the metal top cover (paint missing) boxed, with almost everything that would be included when bought new Loader, beebs, tracer adapter, TM sling Spare internals which look almost enough to complete a build in another shell (gearbox, gears, barrel, piston, hop unit etc etc) 8 mags of which it’s 50/50 split of short & long Ive just wired it to deans , and tested it for firing using a 7.4 At time of writing I haven’t put beebs through it to Chrono it, I’ll do that tomorrow Im aware prices for this will be up n down due to age and usability, probably worth more to someone who collects older , rarer replicas. But tbh it feels like it would stand up to the occasional skirmish day, feels WAAY more solid than my old JG G3 I had a few years ago! 😂 So , I’m looking for ballpark figures please dudes
  7. 100% those time stamps are photoshopped plus the member only just joined today smells o fish to me Ive reported it, but can’t seem to comment on the sale which I would to just warn buyers (mugs for the price)
  8. I had a similar situation not that long ago I boiled the kettle and poured the hot water over the offendingly stuck part, only took a few seconds for the heat to radiate through the part that was stuck and with little effort it unscrewed. Obvs, if you attempt this, have the rif pointing downwards over the sink to stop water going up and into your barrel
  9. No wonder new players get all confused I kinda know my way around Airsoft, and that sentence up there has me questioning my knowledge 😂
  10. Partially stripped the Uzi down to solder on a Deans connection (all of my batteries are that fitting) Had to extend the wires a few cm’s as there isn’t enough meat for an easy job using the standard wiring. Job done, plugged in a fresh 7.4 and the appropriate clicks/bangy/pewey noises were made. Relief, it works! Then noticed the only battery that will fit in the battery trough is fractionally too tall, stopping the top cover clicking down properly. Looks like one of the squillion ranger bands I made will do the trick just fine Chrono and range test tomorrow 🤞
  11. Airsoft has also taught me a new motto for dealing with SWMBO ”It’s easier to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission” 😉
  12. I think that young blood brings in new ideas and innovations Just take a look at the expo that happened across in Taiwan a few weeks ago, most of the reps and innovators/ manufacturers who are introducing the new stuff are barely of shaving age. My parents could barely get their head around owning a Betamax let alone getting it to programme to record one of the 3 available channels. Now mum (chasing 80) is able to get her box to pause live tv while she saves another programme on the hard drive to watch later Innovation comes along and we get used to it, but I’ve only been playing maybe 7 years now and have seen things progress I understand the use of hpa, but ruins the immersion for me with the umbilical Bluetooth programming of mosfets seems useful Lipo’s or Life battery’s are certainly much better than NiCad’s Thermal imaging will be cheaper and common in a couple of years Still lots to look forward to I suppose, it’s great to see it continue to evolve Young players are the future of our hobby for innovation
  13. I wasn’t actively on the look out for one, it just sorta …….. happened 😂
  14. Latest arrival Not much info regarding these online, and YT videos are very old and scarce Im pleasantly surprised with the build quality of the TM plastics and more metal than I had expected. Still to be tested as my batteries are deans and I don’t want to change this at all. more a collectors piece than skirmishable, but it will get an outing one day The few YT videos out there show partial markings, this has full “UZI” on the receiver, probably something to do with different markets, but didn’t think that TM bothered with that stuff
  15. Bad start to the new years spend already 🤷🏼‍♂️ But what can you do……. enough spares to build another one included.
  16. Than pop a listing in the classifieds with your name and todays date written on a piece of paper included in the pictures of it Theres a good chap 😉
  17. Maybe with various shades of “tan” she’s trying to replicate M81 🤷🏻‍♂️
  18. Never bothered with Propane i bought a bottle and a nozzle, filled a mag and the smell almost made me Vom So screw that!! 😂
  19. Well, Ran it today at an indoors site Snow on the ground outside and a temp of 2 C, wasn’t much warmer inside A comfy 1.2J using the Orange Ultrair and dialled in with the Npas
  20. If it’s just the backboard that is for mounting the pegs to show your replicas, why not just use any rattlecan in a colour of your choice I doubt any paint will have an effect on your TM’s finishes Just let it dry thoroughly outside or in the shed / garage to let fumes evaporate and the smell to die down
  21. What I did notice yesterday is a new member spam posting for meds on the general page, then his second post was in the classifieds I thought we had a 10 post count before getting access to classifieds area. not that it stops them spamming all the other areas
  22. Well, short n sweet Hogmanay game at The Depot, indoor site My first visit there and my first indoor game. Got to say I will definitely be back, left the house at 6:30 for a 1:20 drive to Port Glasgow. Used the Sig 553 which performed flawlessly, indoor temp was probably around 5 deg C , there was a good 6 inches of snow on the ground outside, so the place was chilly and not much warmer inside. Had to adjust the Npas to get it below 350 and they only allow up to .25’s But no dramas, and had a cracking laugh. I ended my day early as I had gone over my ankle in Oct and it’s still giving me a bit of pain, so called it quits one game after lunch. My aeg only came out to get chrono’d for just in case! Absolutely massive place, pyro’s going off everywhere so my noise cancelling headset was being used to good effect And what with the Smokey afterboom really highlighted tracers and torches Fucking SUPERB 👍 Pics taken at the quiet end, didn’t want my phone shot out! 🥴
