  1. I’m only 30 mins from either site which is going to be good. Especially with the weather turning will be nice to have somewhere away from the wet.
  2. With my fingers bb by bb because I’m a hardcore oper8er nah I usually use the TM plunger like Ross I find it quick enough however I snapped the stick in my pack at my last game so I’m going to buy a wooden dowel to replace it.
  3. safety is normal my CQBR is exactly the same. is it really worth losing a third of your ammo capacity for maybe 100grams per mag? If you’re working on 6 mag load then you’ve lost nearly 3 mags of capacity for the weight of a single mag.
  4. just got my refund, I’m going to hope I sneak 3 out of the fire support stock
  5. you’ve filled me with hope. If not I paid through PayPal so I’ll claim my money back that way
  6. I’ve emailed defcon again asking if they’re due any otherwise I think I’ll cancel my order with them and then order from Fire Support.
  7. I thought it was stocks were milspec but pistol grips are commercial? Or am I talking out of my arse?
  8. I also found .28s to be heaviest I could use. in reference to the 416 discussion; now that GHK have released their MK18 do we reckon that will push TM to make another Zet based AR?
  9. I am a firm believer they are the best all round GBBR for sale at the moment so it’s no wonder they’re doing well.
  10. You guys always seem to know more than most retailers on this situation, anyone heard when the next batch of mags is due? I hope I get my 3 before the 26th but it’s not seeming likely.
  11. 😂 it definitely does, however the cars aren’t too bad as I’m a mechanic so tools and space I already have.
  12. Track driving and drifting are one of my other hobbies that car was a 328i which had a lot of money spent on it. I’m in the process of building an E46 for track days, will be popping in a 3.0 from a 330ci and trying to do some laps at brands and a few ring trips. The other thing to keep me busy is my horses, I used to compete a lot with them and did county level show jumping however not much in the way of competition anymore.
  13. Same used mine for another 48hr milsim, was an awesome piece of kit and even when getting into big firefights didn’t feel out gunned. I got a few well placed shots through building windows I wasn’t expecting to actually hit. Picture of my 8 man squad which turned into a 6 man squad on the second day. (I’m furthest on the right by the trailer)
  14. @MrWilson where’s these opening dates... this weather is making want to play indoors
  15. Spoke to someone yesterday who actually went to the school on Sheppey, he'll be pleased to hear that'll be running midweek evening games. Genuinely cannot wait to go and play some CQB again... I've been watching the updates very closely. 👍
  16. Check out their Facebook page they’ve posted an update of the possibility of another school site. Smaller but apparently might open sooner. Me and a few tradesy friends have offered our help with setting up, no one’s been in contact so don’t think it’s just you mate.
  17. On the note of the green gas mod I used an angle grinder as I had one to hand however being zinc you could use a junior hacksaw or a pipe cutter I just did it in the quickest way possible. a valve key is so cheap you should get one anyway makes maintaining all your mags a breeze. As long as you have a set of Allen keys (a necessity for pretty much every Airsofter) a valve key (I recommend buying one) some masking tape and two biros and whatever cutting device you choose (you can pick up a Jnr. Hacksaw for about £2) i took my fill valves with tubes out of the mags, then I taped a ring about 10mm above the actual fill valve (the inner brass tube seen in the picture) use any thin long item as a depth marker put it down the tube till you hit the valve and put a wrap of tape on that point then take it out and place it beside your tube then move that point towards the end of the tube 10mm and you’ll have a good compromise between gas storage and initial shot consistency. then use the pen to mark that point. That’s your cut line, before you cut remove the valve itself to stop any swarf and filings getting in there. Then cut, by using the tape it should leave less of a sharp edge and then just rebuild your valves and refit to the mags and jobs done. when filling with gas I keep filling till it can’t take anymore, it does mean you’re stood there awhile filling mags however I get about 3 mags on a decent weather day to a fill of gas. So it’s worth the extra 10-15 seconds.
  18. I've changed vehicles since I last posted. I'm now daily driving an E46 saloon and have an L200 crew cab for towing and will be used for going to airsoft sites. I did take some photos of some friends cars over the weekend thought I would share.
  19. Just checked they’ll only sell the last mag with a rifle... so when you buy your new MWS you can carry a total of 70rnds 😂 on the note of mags, I’ve got 3 on backorder with defcon hopefully they get them back in by the end of September I’ve got a 48hr game coming up.
  20. In reference to buckings, I will replace my buckings in my rifles every 10/15 at a push game days. I see them as a very consumable part and if you want accuracy you’ve got to pay for a bucking every so often.
  21. You have far too much time between games and by now thumbs of steel
  22. Interesting review cheers for the info, does it have a button or is it automatic? (stops loading when it thinks it's full)
