  1. Due to the rough terrain I thought I'd be too encumbered to move relatively fast, but I actually had no problem at all.. At the local shop the choice was between the emerson and the tmc one, which at the time was out of stock.. I didn't want to order it online because being a chinese copy I was afraid to find flaws and not be able to get a refund/swap.. Before the foam plates I used it once and was planning to sell it because of how uncomfortable it was, I used it on a cqb game in an abandoned 1861 era fortification (there's 40 just around my town) so I didn't even have to climb hills or do anything physically challenging.. Now? I may sell it just to get the real crye one
  2. The emerson jpc comes with plastic plates, they're hollow so they are not as stiff as real SAPIs but having a piece of plastic pushing on your spine isn't exactly pleasant.. You can fill them with sand and they become as heavy as the real deal iirc.. These foam ones (just noticed they're from emerson as well lol) are thicker but they flex a lot more so the carrier bends and molds to your shape instead of digging into your back. They're also slightly heavier (talking grams) than the plastic ones but you don't really feel the difference once wearing it.
  3. This is what i ran yesterday. I thought it was going to be painful and uncomfortable.. Since i switched from plastic plates to foam ones that thing (jpc) has become one of the most comfortable items i've ever worn for airsoft! Forgive me for the lack of mags, but the rig is supposed to hold 4 midcaps for cqb games, while in the pictures i'm carrying my 3 brand new Lonex flash mags.. I also ditched a lower mesh face mask, I used one of those stretchy neck tubes in multicam, did a good job at protecting my mouth..
  4. So, today I took my jpc out for the game instead of my usual mini mav + backpack loadout, I thought it was going to end in pain because of the weight difference but, holy cow, the thing is so comfortable to wear!

It only took me €12 for a set of foam plates to replace the emerson plastic ones and I must say that they're one of my best purchases so far!

It'll still be used mainly for cqb games, but damn, now I'm definitely going to wear it more for woodland games!

  5. Energy creep.

Gonna "field test" it tomorrow and properly chrono my gun with .20s and .30s to have a "scientific" result..

    Just for science

  6. Collected my 3x lonex flash mags for my m4s and picked up a Emerson QD one point sling to go on my jpc, too bad the shop didn't have a multicam one so I had to get it in black..
  7. I found irons to be extremely expensive for what you get, how much did you pay for them?
  8. Went to the shop for the mags, came home with a set of foam plates for my jpc, a mic for my radio and a bag of .20 g&g bio bbs.. On Friday I'll go back there to collect my flash mags..
  9. Watching Kingsman: The golden circle.

That brit accent is hilarious (no offense guys, but it's amazing)

almost makes me want to get a Kingsman loadout for airsoft

    1. AshOnSnow

      AshOnSnow

Not a patch on the first film.

Yes - a suit, Tokarev TT30 and a BB-proof umbrella will certainly be an eye catcher.

Luckily, you can get an airsoft TT33 from loads of places. Shotgun launcher, not so much - would have to make it yourself, easily done with cardboard, or if you have workshop access a pile drill and lathe for an aluminium one.

Not sure the marshalls will be too pleased when you start snapping players necks though!

  10. Most combat pants have the option to raise the pads by adjusting a string in the front pockets, or you can add Velcro strips to the back so your son can fit them where they're supposed to be.. I am fat so I had to take a XL instead of a L size and the pants are a bit too long for my legs, I added Velcro and now my pads sit right on my knees..
  11. A couple of friends stitched them, just a tiny stitch at each corner.. I haven't had troubles with mine yet, they're still in place.. I guess it depends on luck xD
  12. They're called built in anyway... To be exact they're replicas of the Crye air flex pads, and just noticed you're wearing them the wrong way, the actual shell needs to be on the outside of the pocket.. Like this https://goo.gl/images/KDZkjJ
  13. Invader Gear makes some XS sizes iirc, go check them out
  14. I have finally overcome my laziness and took a selfie at the end of the game. All the crap i was carrying around yesterday minus the comms (radio ran out of battery so i put my headset in my backpack)
  15. heh, i know my posts are deceiving as hell since i'm not from the UK (and you may think "what the fook you doing here then ya c*nt?")
  16. 15£ is a tad less than 20€, also I'm Italian so with shipping I'll pay them more
  17. Not bought yet because the store is closed today, but tomorrow I'll get 3 lonex flash mags for my m4s because spending the whole morning rubbing those wheels is annoying as hell.. 20€ a piece, quite inexpensive I'd say for what they are.. I have to check if they fit and feed on my guns first though..
  18. f*ck my phone camera.... Anyway, got a few bits for my AM 009.. 12" Ares Octarms Keymod handguard in DE Ares Keymod rails FMA replica Magpul Keymod RVG in DE a QD sling Keymod mount + QD ring.. all this stuff combined weighs less than the stock handguard by itself..... I really like the looks now, I just wonder what would happen if I replaced the upper receiver with a black one
  19. I believe the handcuffs are for his wife... He can tie her to their bed and... Go buy something else for bb wars
  20. Another pic. Sorry in advance for the ugly couch, i keep my airsoft gear at my parents and they don't want to change it xD This time it's my CQB plate carrier, which i rarely use since we don't play in urban fields that much It's an Emerson JPC in multicam with the plastic fake plates (i'll make foam ones out of an old camping mat, making the PC more flexible while still retaining its shape).. Up front i weaved a triple open top m4 pouch (Condor), i don't like the integrated kangaroo pouch, mags are too loose even with the elastic retention and i couldn't find any decently priced insert or a sheet of kydex to make one.. Next to that i have a single open top m4 pouch (still Condor cuz i'm poor, if i had the money i would have bought a real crye jpc), on the other side i have my radio (which will be moved to the back panel) and on the back i have a 2l bladder in a Condor hydration pack (the slimmest one, holds the bladder and has a small zipper pocket)... My comms are a Midland G7 with a Midland Bowman headset, we don't use pyros so i have no need for earing protection.. The mags i'm using are G&G 120bb midcaps, really good but also really heavy (when empty they are on par with a fully loaded 300bb high cap).. I have 6, 4 in the PC, one on the belt and one in the gun.. I'll probably add a map pouch and a utility on the right side in place of the radio pouch so i can store BBs in a place where i can reach them without having to take off my PC or asking for help. This will be coupled with some sort of molle belt to hold my holster, dump pouch, first aid kit and pistol mags..
  21. So, had some free time yesterday, fixed my kwa g19 gas leak and modded my 1200bb electric magazine to accept LiPos (the stock battery lasts for about 15 minutes)..

Now I just need to know why my am013 stopped feeding from its own mags -.-" I only swapped the bucking with a g&g green one..

  22. Bought a keymod 12" rail for my am 009, a g&g green bucking for my honey badger, 2 7.4v lipos for the badger (small brick ones, everything else doesn't fit in the stock) and a triple open top m4 pouch for my jpc. I'll collect the rail next week.
  23. Nowadays I even light my cigarettes with a ferro rod xD and I have my trusty bushcraft knife and rod with me when I play airsoft, you never know. Back to airsoft, I'm gonna order 2 keymod handguards for my amoebas.. I found out the rails they come with are way too heavy (literally you can wedge them into a tree and use them as pegs)
