Hopefully this fits into the what have you/I made section.... I live in a rented house and have wanted a nicer way to display pews than the usual scattered around the house option without drilling holes in the walls etc. Spent many an hour googling and procrastinating about the best way to go. Eventually decided to settle on the Ikea Skadis peg board as that seems fairly popular. A quick trip, that sadly wasn't, as the missus came and dragged me round the entire f*cking place and eventually we ended up in the hardware section. Quickly realised the boards have rounded corners so that they would need trimming down to get rid of that. So got the biggest boards in white with the intention of paint/wrap/netting to cover it up. Found some conveniently size ply board at work, cleaned that up and set about cutting the boards down to suit. Found some ally spacers that would lift the pegboard away from the ply and bolted it up nicely. Seen some reports of sagging or bowing so hoping the 9x bolts per panel will sort that. Absolutely rubbish at DIY, but quite happy how the turned out. Currently un-coloured and hoping to get some kind of case/drawers/kallax to lift it of the floor to give some storage space underneath. Only a small selection of Pews, ones in bits, the AEGS are somewhere in the house....

KABAR Rubber Knife that doesn't look like a toy?
Barny replied to Austeyr's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Sadly they're not rubber, but TS Blades do some nice prop/training knives. I had one but lost it mid game...and it was a green handle so no luck finding it -
I used to run a belt with three rifle mags on it, pistol, dump pouch AND the hpa bottle on it. No gear at all on my chest. Worked surprisingly well. I was using hicaps back then

Ahh, have i jumped the proverbial gun here and assumed it'll fit any VFC...?

If you fancy making some more i'd buy one from you

It is indeed. I wanted the AEG from last year ish but was advised it wouldn't compare to my hpa dmrs and to hold on for the gbbr for the realism feels Since having the MTW's although they are awesome guns the micro-switch trigger kinda makes them too efficient and makes playing almost too easy and sterile. Then i had a kythera fitted into my TR16 and the real trigger felt soo nice I've been using that ever since. Now I've fallen into the gbbr rabbit hole with the spear too i was intending to use both on the hpa system, but now i'm leaning for the gbb mags. But fuck me they're expensive! We'll see, no rush

Similar stuff, cheapness https://www.bigdug.co.uk/bigdug-essentials-kaizen-foam-insert/v/NPKF30R_1/

No, i just swapped 'em straight in. Assumed the softer rate would offset against the longer 300mm length. I'm guessing i should?

I'm not sure if i'm going to be much help here... Very new to GBBR, and not exactly a whizz with hpa either! This is an APFG MCX Spear, which i believe is based/made by VFC. Its got the Airtac VFC adapter in it with a PTS short 170rnd mag. Plays nicely at 120psi on the regulator which is handy as my DMR's are set to that too. The npas was removed as it fell out whilst tinkering and i've not bothered to put it back in yet. Ive since fitted the winter springs as recommended on this forum but i appear to be getting bolt bounce so may swap these out and/or refit the npas. I've not used it in game yet so ive no idea how it will perform. Thinking of spraying the adapter tan to blend it in a bit too

Nice! although i'm biased as i have one too - what/where/from the suppressor? Does it fit the supplied flash hider?
-
1st GBBR, no idea what im doing with it, it makes a LOT of noise, bits move about and it shakes violently in my hands. But - OMG! is it satisfying to shoot! I shall now go and sit in the naughty corner as i'm running it Hpa - cant be doing with 30rnd mags

Not sure if this is what your after but an alternative belt set up below TT_belts two part rigid belts fitted with 5.56 on the black and 7.62 on the MC. The black one shows 3x rifle mags, 1x pistol, bfg holder, dump pouch, MHA with deadly customs holster and shaw concepts padded thingy. The Mc one is currently in winter mode so the hpa tank gets moved onto the plate carrier along with 1x rifle mag. Both belts allow me to run kit off/away from my torso allowing me to keep cool with just a t-shirt on. Work well as i dont tend to run much when in game

Not sure if this helps. I have Revision Sawflys and like you i now need to run the lens insert to help my fading vision. I sent the insert off to lensology who quoted £29 to fit the required lens into the insert and a 5-7 day turn around. The should be back with me tomorrow. So if the old insert doesn't fit the new glasses, at least there's an option to get them sorted reasonably quickly and pocket friendly too
