  1. Any other comments on the Xcortech XT501 people?
  2. So, I have ran a cloth through the unit a few times to help clean the contact on it but there has been no real improvement! I am probably going to look at getting a new tracer, has anyone experience of Xcortech XT501? It is about my price limit but looks a lot better from than the B&T one
  3. Looks good. How long did it take to come?
  4. I have not used the unit much, so I doubt it. How did u clean the contacts exactly? Just feed some cloth through the inner tube of the unit I suppose... Yeah, the batteries were Duracell!
  5. So, I recently brought a ASG B&T Tracer and it worked fine but then suddenly stopped last night. I can see the red light on and when I 'hand drop' through BB's I can see it lights up about 1 in 8. I have put in new batteries too but no consistent success, any ideas people? I am using Madbull tracer BB's.
  6. Thanks mate, that is helpful. Did you find the FANZ kit easy to fit?
  7. Thanks mate. Questions: 1) Do the goggles fog with the helmet when wearing without a fan (yes, I think the answer will be)? 2) Will this type FMA helmet be suitable to wear with i4's? http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152206577-FAST-PJ-CFH-Helmet-Replica-Black-L-XL-.html 3) Is this the fan you have? Is it good? http://www.rap4uk.com/Habervision-Goggle-Fan-p/habervision_goggle_fan.htm
  8. If anyone is going on 10th Jan, PM me as it is my maiden voyage down there
  9. This is interesting... Which model/make of FAST helmet do you use with i4's? Did you need to 'mod it' at all?
  10. I go hill running a lot and incorporate HIIT training into it. Basically, sprint short periods on the hill and then a slow jog, and alternate it. I play a lot of CQB and this is to simulate the fast periods of CQB type airsoft.
  11. I have a Krytac Trident PDW and it is wicked for CQB. I only play CQB and it rocks!! Are you at The Mall on 10th Jan? I will be there, so you can have a look then.
  12. Any hotel takers..? I ideally want to room share to keep costs down
  13. Right, paid! Please add me back on the list, cheers Who is staying at the hotel? Is anyone wanting to room share? Roll on 27th Feb
  14. I haven't quite 'bottled it', I just need to ensure my mate can attend and house me before putting down £££. I will be there on the Sunday at least and will confirm the evening game once my mate gets back to me
  15. The other grip I was looking at for the PDW is this: http://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/Weapon-Accessories/Vertical-Grips%20?product_id=537
  16. I will mainly be playing CQB and I doubt this will be suitable from what has been said. Agility and practicality are far more important than looks, so I might pass on this, although the grip does look the nuts!
  17. I am tempted to purchase it to go onto a Krytac PDW. Unfortunately, I have no option of trying it out before buying. http://battlestore.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=77
  18. I might be able to get a mate to play but he has no gun currently. He's played a lot of paintball and knows the score. What are the site guns like if he was to rent one?
  19. See my thread about Dye i4's! I have worn shooting glasses before and I cannot see me going back to them again now...
  20. So, I have have now been using Dye i4's for CQB since my original post and to put it simply, I find them brilliant. I run around a lot (I mean a lot) and whilst wearing a full woolen balaclava they still do not fog up at all. I have used them in both night and day games with the supplied clear thermal lenses & found them to be fog free, comfortable, lightwieght and protect all my face. The ear protection is good too. Even close up face shots have not hurt. All the components on the mask are replacable too. Just be careful NOT to put any liquid on the inside of the thermal lense of course, and only wipe with a dry microfibre cloth. My only negative comment is that aiming down iron sights is a bit of challenge due to the mask covering the cheek, but a raised sight is fine. I don't tend to precisely aim with irons anyhow in quick paced CQB, so that is no big issue. Out of all the eye pro I have tried, these are the ones I will stick with. Would I recommend others getting Dye i4's, hell yeah!
