  1. I feel for you. Especially if there anythin like mine, he seems to take great delight in tellin me where he was every time he shot me. Even if he's on my team!
  2. I wish I'd know that convincing my 13 year old son to start playing now means I have to buy two of everything!
  3. True its not the coolest look and not the same feel. But it's never let me down. I have had to do a lipo conversion on mine which I know is goin to shorten it's life but has improved trigger response, a few videos on you tube. am not buying gas and at £60 I will buy a new one when it goes bang (been more than 12 months already). I know there not for everyone. If they were we would have nothing to talk to talk about. Great for someone who wants to get used to switching from primary to sidearm with out the worry of gas.
  4. Yet to play with someone else with an aep.
  5. Like everything, don't knock it till you have slipped it in ( your leg holster )
  6. I know this will cause no end of people telling me gas is better but I own 2 gbb pistols and 1 nbb. During the winter I was sick of cooling mags and the depressing hisssssss. I bought (for £60) a cyma cm 030 pistol (glock electric pistol) and I love it. I mainly play cqb at night and for this it is perfect. Not very powerful only around 220 fps but the hop unit is great. It's so good I now have two. I have just ordered two extended mags (80 rounds). Keeps me mobile and usually find myself taking point. Especially good if in a team with a good mix weapons. Still havnt gone back to my gas pistols and don't know if I will.
  7. Folding stock was primeraly designed to alow easy exit from a vehicle. Shooting any weapon without a stock will comprise the platform stability. IMHO better to go with a Crain style stock, especially as it sounds like you will be playing outside. I can see why some people my use it in cqb but I've never found it necessary. Look at g&g raider long.
  8. I'd suggest you buy an aeg rifle ie an m4 with a long barrel and low magnification scope. Airsoft snipping isn't as fun as it may sound and is usually a role taken on by people who have been playing for a while or have watched too meny American army films. a good m4 with hop dialed in will shoot far enough but also mean you can switch roles mid game if you want to have some full auto fun.
  9. Trojan Olympus cqb stockport open for skirmish 1 day and 3 nights a week. Special nights; pistol only, gas and spring, resident evil, purge night, limited ammo, etc. always somthin different. A great group of players and a large well stocked shop. Just wish it was closer to where I live. 2 hour round trip after work!
  10. As a regular player at Trojan I my have I biased opinion. I player there every week if possible but no less than every two weeks. Due to work and family commitments I am only able to play evenings. I have no doubt that you experience some issues whilst playing there as I have seen them first hand for myself. But what I would say is that the owner Ben, is always keen to hear both positive and negative feed back about people's experience at Trojan. The site is usually dramatically changed every couple of months and is always tweaking each floor to make sure that the regulars don't go to the same old spots. There is always goin to be an advantage to the regular players that's unavoidable. It's a site where team work rules and a lone wolf is quickly captured and killed. If free roaming play is more your thing then he has recently brought back zombie night. I won't go into detail but play usually starts at 7.30 and runs till 11. No breaks, limited ammo, small teams, multiple objectives, always a great night had by all. Trust me you will run like a little girl when 20 zombies are chasing you through the mill in the pitch black, you the last one on your team that hasn't been infected and you only have 20 rounds left and one objective to find.
