  1. Think am goin to try it. Will keep an eye out for a cheap gun with broken internals to use.
  2. The link u posted still showed gas but just though about it and see your point. Do u think that would work? Is that conversion easily available?
  3. They are paintball bows. Looking for a string powered bow. I think it would be cool.
  4. http://www.airowgunwholesale.com/main.php Have emailed these people but no reply. Was hoping someone would know of a uk supplier.
  5. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=97Nx1-7XI5I Watch this
  6. Where can I buy an Airsoft compound bow/ cross bow. I don't want to make my own bit would consider used if anyone has one they don't use/want
  7. Send all messages to a mod asap if u are worried and inform them off ur worries regarding ur record. That way u will be ahead of the game should somthin happen.
  8. I have to agree. U are not bound under sale of goods act. But more importantly I don't think u have a moral obligation either. That said think the buyer sounds ok. I think u have both been very resonable and that u hav offered him plenty to try and resolve the issue with HIS gun as am sure we all do from time to time. I think what has happened is he has bought a gun that is far to advanced for him. He hasn't learnt the correct way to care/use it and he has f*cked something on it. I have seen this a lot! Wish that new players would start with a good mid range aeg. Also when u buy a SECOND HAND gun u must except that there is a risk. It won't come with a warrenty. This is why u are getting it at a cheeper rate. My advice; tell him u are willing to help as a fellow airsofter but if he pushes it or asks for money tell him to ........ Off.
  9. I am also grounded! I've been told no more Airsoft, golf, fishing or gym until the my loft conversion is finished...... However i played Airsoft last night, was at the driving range tonight, 18 holes Sunday and the gym 1 hour a night, every night! 30 and grounded, I love it.
  10. Welcome. A lot of the time it's the player that moves slowly and with direction that is able to get the most "kills" By advancing slowly you are able to assess your next move. It's very hard to run, look, shoot, plan and survey the area all at the same time. Get a good aeg (£150-£250) that is made by a recognised brand g&g, etc. it will easily shoot far enough and will do full auto so u can cover ur own ass. All IMHO of cause
  11. Have you played at Trojan Airsoft? They have a lot of guns in stock there. And open 22/7
  12. I have two glock aep's. Use them when playing cqb with 100 round mags. Very mobile and great fun. Never let me down. Not powerful but who needs 350 fps at 20 feet.
  13. Wolfy, forget buying guns for now. Just go and play a game first. Hire a gun, don't matter what. Just have a go, u will soon realise what kind of gun u want. Don't just b a dreamer. Play.
  14. Work as a team. 3/4 I find is best.
  15. The problem is if site start to dictate what can and can't b used we would end up with the same load out. As far as I know there is no restriction on how meny rounds a sniper has or what the gun uses to shoot. Buy what makes u happy!! f the site wants to limit mag sizes all they would have to do is play limited ammo games. IMHO these games are a lot more tactical and mean ammo has to be distributed according to role.
  16. Who give a f@ck what other people think. Get what is best for you. Don't get one drum mag, get two!
  17. Play with rental guns to start with. Get ukara then buy a black gun. When u rent ask if there are different guns that u can try. Defo recommend a g&g raider. Good quality and a good alround gun.
  18. Defo worth a go. Try evenings. Wed and Thursday nights and every other Monday. Bring a torch. Haha
  19. Have you been to Trojan stockport?
  20. Just a word of caution, don't go all out straight away. Most people, me included, find there load out is based on practical experience. What I found I needed as I played more and more games. It is nothing like what I thought I would like but it's comfortable and fits my style of play aswell as the site I play at.
  21. what happened just after you uttered that immortal words.
  22. It's 3 hours from me but I will make the trip befor the end of the year. I don't really us surrender rule. If am that close to that I wouldn't want to shoot then that must mean I could use a knife kill. Being that close usually means I have spent time creeping around enemy team so to say the word surrender or bang load enough for the player to hear will alert the other opposing players to my position. It is often possible to take out two or three players before firing a single bb. On the etiquette front, if u are knife killed and the player whispers "stealth kill" in your ear don't shout hit. Stand up and walk back to regen. Once back in the game shout as loud as possible to alert your team but dead players don't talk.
  23. Everyone plays for different reasons. Just because you or your team are serious players, a lot of people just want to get out the house at the weekend. Also, only the losers are playin for fun! Hahah
  24. How do you find your new gun in comparison? Accuracy is dependent on the range you are usually engaging. I play a lot of cqb were range is on average 5-15 meters. Shooting at that range means I can get a tight grouping when shooting paper target. Which means it's possible to select where you want to shoot someone. At 40-50meters this will widen to a human size target. This dosnt mean that the gun is inaccurate. Just means that you are shooting at .25g bb using gas ( which is subject to pressure, cooling, etc ) through a moving atmosphere ( wind ) held by a human who is is unable to be completely still. If you are able to reliable hit a person with a short burst of bbs (5) at the max range you wish to engage, than you gun is accurate. Would also like to to say; Higher fps dosnt mean more accurate.
