  1. Yep but a firehawk is basically an over sized pistol (a sh*t one). Your krytac PDW on the other hand 😍
  2. The only way you might get a firehawk to do 55 metres is if you have a tailwind and a good throwing arm.
  3. Great another gear argument. How about this for a gear opinion. Doesnt matter who makes it all that matters is. Its comfy It doesnt dissolve in the rain. Doesnt tear like rice paper. You can carry whatever you need in it. And most importantly you like it. Everything else is just personal opinion. Me personally I dont care if its military grade or if SF use it because I am not going to war, I am going to play airsoft with my toy gun.
  4. Divorce your parents on the grounds of cruelty.
  5. Just noticed you said to get it shooting 80 to 90 metres. There is no upgrade that will do that short of a Xmas miracle.
  6. Why buy a firehawk if your just planning on gutting it and spending more money on it? Buy this instead. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft/krytac-trident-pdw-black.htm#.VnBtHi8Ybfs Short and stubby but you can still use outdoors out of the box. It will be a better gun in every way.
  7. Is there any point with a 5 metre range? Could hit targets at that range with a McDonald's straw. I use the building I work in. I can set a target at 50 metres and it has the added bonus of pissing the boss off when there are bbs everywhere.
  8. Thats funny your missus told me it was cqb at best. Apparently it breaks down pretty quickly as well.
  9. Oh well add that one to the half dozen that have smashed before. Its a pretty common occurence there, one of the aspects of playing in there is something is always getting smashed or set fire to.
  10. Would of been better if it was a long type. Medium length are not as common. To be honest thats probably why you dont see Sigs very often, most of the parts are proprietary so upgrading and repairing is a pain because of lack of aftermarket support.
  11. Sig uses medium motor without full motor cage. Its not a standard v3 case either its got a few differences but standard v3 internals.
  12. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-cxp-08-ebb-airsoft-gun-aeg http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-m4-m15-m16-variants/bo-dynamics-lonex-shield-lt595-7-inch-electric-blowback-black.htm#.Vm8VpS8Ybfs Stubby m4 cqb guns similar in price but more reliable and people wont give you that pitying look for buying an amoeba.
  13. No ones asked the obvious question. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BUY AN ARES AMOEBA😝 FOR? There is so many better guns for the money.
  14. All your guns are G&G so no two are ever the same, their quality control isnt good enough for that.😁
  15. I would like to thank duck for his lengthy essays which cured my insomnia.
  16. Poor air seal from nozzle and hop would be my first guess.
  17. My guess: The problem is its a G&G combat masheep.
  18. Cant see any site allowing you to use any homemade smoke/pyro device.Everything has to be covered by insurance.
  19. No you check seals and if thats not the issue you try an m100 spring. No ones saying chuck an m140 in it. Aeg's are pretty simple things its not like there are a million moving parts and so most fixes are pretty simple. Who knows if the fps drop occurred after the tech had it. Are you still fishing for a lower price?😉
  20. Think I just threw up in my mouth 😝
  21. There are a lot of assumptions in that statement. You could be spot on but..... Dont know what spring is in there in the first place. Could of been an m95 and shooting about 310/fps in the first place, that would work out to a 40fps loss which is easily possible with a shot spring. I have seen a compressed spring drop 50fps. So it is possibly the spring. I personally reckon its probably an air seal issue but wouldnt leap straight to a cracked box. Could be a shot o-ring on the nozzle coupled with a poorly fitted bucking that will drop fps massively. There are lots of things that can cause an fps drop and most are pretty simple fixes. Change, spring check seals, reassemble hop using a bit of ptfe. Takes 45 minutes and cost about £16. If that doesn't work then yes it might be a cracked box. But without looking nobody knows. Op should check all the basics to improve fps before sale and clean up the exterior. If thats beyond him then sell as parts or lower the price maybe but lets not consign it to the boneyard on assumptions just yet.
  22. What ever comfy clothes I want to chuck on that day. Being as my main site is a shopping mall camo would class as chavsuit bottoms, hoodie and a peaked cap and I am not wearing that. On the odd occasion I play outdoors dont really see the point of camo at the average 20 to 50 metre range. But then slow and sneaky is not something I have any talent for what so ever.
  23. Sounds more like you want him to split it for your benefit. He only needs to put an m100 spring in to replace the one thats probably gone weak. As for bring opened OP doesnt say whether it was done by a tech or not so there is no reason to assume there is any major gearbox issues. Low Fps is most likely a weakened spring or bad air seal both cheap and easy to fix. Stop trying to railroad him into doing what you want 😒
