okay cheers so would you recommend a matching delta ring and RIS? and a higher quality ris I guess will be machined to a higher tolerance and so possibly fit better

Hey I was wandering if anyone with a g&g cm16 carbine has any experience with installing a drop in ris onto there cm16. I'm looking for one that will fit and wont wiggle around to much. ive heard of people changing the delta ring out for one with a stronger spring or just putting tape on the edge of the RIS to minimise this. any help would be appreciated

I'm now looking for a second airsoft rifle and am thinking of going down the g36k route, I have had a look at various different makes such as SRC, JG and TM and although I would love a TM I don't have the money (student life..) but is their any other company's anyone would recommend? any help would be appreciated, thanks I am UKARA registered by the way

i'd be interested in something like that as I can see myself trying to copy something from a video and end up screwing it up, whereas over skype someone could correct me and say what i've done wrong etc

okay thanks for the advice, would a 7.4 lipo have worse trigger responce then say a 9.6 nimh or would the be roughly on par with each other?

I'm in a similar boat started playing Airsoft in August last year, got my gun in October and play a mix of cqb and outdoor as my local site has a variety of long and close range play. I would say stick with the cm16 and take advice from others as to what parts to get, people have told me that by upgrading cm16s they can outperform £200-300 but again this is what I have been told so cant validate this as i have so far left mine stock as it suits my needs perfectly for the time being

thanks for the advice i'll probably go for two then, i'm going for that size as i want to put a RIS on it in the future so it will be able to fit in in a PEQ box otherwise i would get a larger battery

I have a WE 881 (Eotech 551 replica) I wouldn't recommend it, the reticule is blurry and reflects making two reticules appear (although this is apparently common in all cheap eotech replicas. also the elevation dial has stopped working so i cant properly zero it however this could just be with mine/the eotechs as they do a variety of other sights that seem popular such as aimpoint comp M4, aimpoint T1 micro, trijicon acogs etc.. Im suprised the hawke died on you as their rated for air rifles and shotguns. UTG are supposed to be good in terms of bang for your buck and are popular with are American brothers on their ARs I have been looking at this one recently: http://www.military-outdoor.co.uk/products/utg-leapers-4-2-inch-ita-red-green-2-qd-mounts-dot-sight just look around and check to make sure their "firearm rated" if they are, they should hold up on your gbbr

I would recommend the cm16 carbine with the shorter barrel however mine shoots at about 350-355 fps so would probably need a spring change or to be well worn in for your build. However an Ak74u would be cool though plenty of ak upgrade parts available and I havent seen many short barreled ak's around so it would be unique.

yeah I can see it being sent down the garden if I buggered up the alignment on the air rifle ahaha, I'll probably buy one then as they seem to work for people, I made the mistake of buying an element e1000 from the airsoftclub which is a piece of crap.

Okay thanks i'll give one a go, it will be useful for airsoft checking my gun is inside the permitted fps for a site.

http://www.chronoscopes.com/ Has any had any experience with these chronographs with airsoft guns before? I'm tempted to get one to test my cm16 but it it will also come in handy with my pcp air rifle as the gun shop charge £30 to chrono a gun anyway so seems like a good investment? Thanks George

Yeah I've already made that mistake , mine doesnt feed any more then one round those dytac ones look quite good as well i might see if i can get those but not in a 10 pack

Does any one with a combat machine have any experience with mid caps? I made the mistake of buying a G&G 120 round pmag (and then reading that their crap..) so to save making the same mistake twice can any one recommend any mid caps from experience that feed in their cm16s? Thanks George

I'm gutted I cant make this one , I was at the first one it was so much fun two vehicles at this one as well so the games might be a bit more even
