I wouldn't mind but it would help if when the assorted comiccons said "no realistic replica firearms" in the rules they actually enforced it..... That said the decision to walk through London open carry style is indicative of how badly we need Darwinian Evolution to kick in again.

To QD or not to QD (Advice on QD sling points)
Chev Chelios replied to Punisher3990's topic in General Help
ULoop from BFG or a derivative is my go to (basically a HK clip that will not bite you and is silent). When buying QDs buy the "anti rotation" versions (so they cant just spin in the cup) and match materials otherwise the steel item will eat the aluminium one rather quickly. Angry Gun make a nice oxide finished stainless steel swivel and is nicer than the "reel steel" BFG ones I got from Tactical Kit. I have no experience with the replica you are using and if its cup for the QD is out of spec put you can take a hammer and punch and add indents to it so it will stop the swivel you have from popping out without being depressed. Just keep checking for sizing as you go. -
And the gate has once again been left open at the c**t farm. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqxzjlj27w8o Convenienantly just as certain politicians might be looking for a distraction. Also can we please use this to get rid of Just-Cos because its clearly letting lackwits threaten our hobby.

Selling my used VFC/Umarex HK416 with a polarstar jack engine. I bought it used with the polarstar in it, has served me very well and has never broken but I’ve stopped playing, so now someobody else can get some fun out of it. The gun fully works and shoots great. There is a crack in the main body of the gun but this doesn’t affect performance at all and would be less then/around £40 to replace. The charging handle also doesn’t have the internals and doesn’t really open up the side flap every time, this would be around £10/£15 to replace. Aftermarket parts: •Maxx hop up •Maxx trigger and magazine release •PTS pistol grip •PTS stock •New FCU wire (blue and black) •Novritsch red dot •Nuprol front grip •Suppressor (can’t remember brand) I’m also including my hard gun case, 7.4v Li-ion battery, Black HPA line and TechT gun sav HPA lubricant. Collection in Gillingham, Dorset or I would be willing to post it using a carrier at the buyers expense. (I believe parcel force 48 is the best) Please ask any questions, also accepting offers too *At the moment I’m waiting to get my HPA tank back from my friend who fills it for me, then I will be able to send videos of it firing*340.00 GBP

That’s a weird place for it to break…. I’d suggest that was badly cast at the factory if it’s broken there.

Why not try stuffing a knee pad into the crotch ? I think it's not only effective but also looks pretty.

I did think of that, and honestly it's a good suggestion, but I don't think I need more and as a more reconnaissance style of player, I'd rather not have too much added weight. Though better safe than sorry, I am bringing an SKS chicom that can hold 20rd mags just in case. My usual playstyle is gas sniper rifle (and will be using my Kar98k with its lovely 10rd magazines if the sniper ban has been lifted), so 8x 20rd magazines on the m16 is more than enough if I end up having to use it; I've gone entire skirmish days on < 100rds all day. If I was doing normal rifleman stuff I'd probably do that with some of my normal stanag mags in the rifle mag pouches, plus my chicom with 20rd mags, but since I'll be doing more sniper and reconnaissance style stuff with my friend it's not really needed. As long as I have BBs to take a few well-placed shots, or break contact if we get engaged, that's enough. And more mags is more weight, because yeah... gas mags. The M56 webbing pouches are also not great for 30rd mags, annoyingly enough. They were designed for m14 mags, and stubby 20rd m16 mags, so when I try to put 3x 30rd m16 mags in them, they're just a tiny bit too tall and the pouch doesn't close properly. They'll hold 2x 30rd magazines as the fabric folds around the mags a little, but 3 is too many. I'm bringing them, but will be sticking to the 8x 20rd magazines unless something goes wrong and I have to use my xm177.

Yeah that's the one, I picked one up from Tiger111 though, think it totalled to £11. The chap has sent it back today so once I receive it the total will be refunded and then once I get the catch I'll replace it and it'll go back into my collection. Hopefully nothing else has got damaged along with it

If you had a massive cock and balls maybe (so its fine for me) they are made with MMA in mind so work well in all sorts of positions.

Could be either way to be honest - who knows. If it were me, I might be tempted simply to pick up a replacement slide stop and send it to the buyer as a gesture - presume that its one of these? https://www.18airsoft.com/products/army-armament-original-slide-stop-for-r501-r601-gbb-airsoft-army-162 £4+ postage

I bought this from the classifieds last week under the assumption it was a Cyma, sadly it was a WE Aeg. The rifle itself is pretty nice, however I don't like the extras on the gearbox shell like the bolt latch etc which seem important to the case sitting in the receiver correctly. When I received it, the motor sounded like it was dying so I've replaced it with another generic V2 style motor. The hop unit has a maple leaf yellow bucking and an omega nub fitted. The inner barrel has marks to show it's been cut down, not sure why. I hollowed the stock out a bit more so that the battery connector could be pulled through should it need disassembly at any point - This was done when I replaced the Tamiya connector with a Deans style connector. The receiver had some scratches which I covered over with paint however the paint as well as a horrible CE mark, however admittedly the paint hasn't covered the CE mark very well. Will be sent with one mid cap which I received when I purchased the replica, as well as the carry handle. Price includes postage and fees. No original box etc as it was sent to me the same way. Low FPS, around 0.7J which I assume is due to the shorter inner barrel. Never got around to fixing it up when I saw the WE gearbox shell as I knew I wouldn't be keeping it. Knew I'd forget something - Not pictured but it will include a KAC style broom handle grip120.00 GBP

could just be bad luck as the part is cast brittle pot metal and broke at a stress point.
-
That's exactly what I thought as well. Seems very unlikely that the slide would be forced back in the box when it was secure in the foam. Offered for him to return it and I'll refund if it was a genuine breakage but it seems very unlikely that it was a damage caused by Parcelforce - I've shipped plenty of things out (Mostly to you Gav 😂) and they've never arrived damaged, in fact this is the first time in over 70 sales roughly (Both accounts combined) where something has gotten broken.
-
Sounds like a brute force & ignorance breakage.

@Tommikka - Thank you for the suggestions Tomm! Are these any brands for trousers you recommend? (Paintball and non paintball) Just did a quick search on paintball trousers and doesn't seem that there are long trousers with padding around thighs, I only see the shorts.

Bandolier for extra mags? When I wear my ALICE, I keep 30 rnd mags in the pouches & 20 rnd mags in a bandolier, I have a 5 mag pouch but it's far too heavy & too easy for a mag to fall out. Weighs a tonne anyway when the mags are GBB

@Davet Was looking at these, don't they cause issues when prone? @Chev Chelios Does it become uncomfortable when going prone?
