To find it I searched "Airsoft excalibur m4" on google images, most brands will stick something on the side to distinguish their model or a serial number on the trigger guard. Then it's just a case of matching up items to results, in this case the handguard has 3 bolts which I looked for 🙂

I’m going to put on my health and safety hat for this - though one use pyro is pretty much cardboard & paper wrapped around a small amount of pyro/explosive, there is a lot of science in the design of that cardboard and paper on top of the Pyro/explosive mix. One set amount of pyro/explosive will burn/detonate in a particular manner - it could be a ‘fast’ or ‘slow’ detonation, with different combinations of flash/bang and the energy can be balanced between volume/blast energy Then put it into a different tube of cardboard and paper that blows apart and directs force out to both ends or favours one direction rather than the other Put a carefully designed flashbang tube into another tube and you change the way that it performs In our events we have used many devices and prop ‘explosives’, however our prop explosives such as for example dummy C4 have been the players device that transmits a signal to detonate the unmodified pyro nearby These would have to be looked at on a case by case basis, and should be tested / approved by sites based on their effect and also their insurance which can instantly be invalidated by not using pyro as designed https://enolagaye.com/products/mk5-thunder-flash/

Agreed that it's a WE Glock 34. For a rough idea of second hand prices the general rule is 60-70% of retail price for stuff that's in good condition. Unfortunately though being two tone reduces the value more. I suggest putting a post in the appraisals section to get a better idea of a suitable price for those and any other equipment

Oh the OG blue cylinder! None of this new shiny stuff! These are slowly becoming harder to find, if you’d like a new one you’re looking at an eye watering cost these days and this if they’re in stock. Joys of the “PTW” tax shows signs of use with the odd ding/scratch however no bulging to the cylinder case, and no dents within the case. I’m not saying I’m gifted when it comes to creating things but today I had a thought. There are many different types of one use pyro, and reusable, on the market and I like things that go bang. I found a gent, http://www.youtube.com/@FulcrumAirsoft, who has some fantastic ideas and designs for reusable pyro, especially towards a WW2 theme, which I think is fucking brilliant! I’d highly recommend giving his channel a watch and visiting his website. But it got me thinking, I’d personally love to see some more single use ideas based towards any theme. Which is cheap. I today have mocked up some very basic “dynamite” shells, based loosely on the British PE No2 explosive during 1940s. A very rough a crude production with any thin cardboard rolled into a tube shape (mainly cereal boxes) then rolled up in grease paper and some strimmer wire as a fake looking fuse wire. These happily fit a EGMK5 or the shorter FBS MK5/4. Only one used per trio. Or would be perfect for the FBS maroon sappers with a firing box. It’s mainly a one use “shell” which if created properly, by someone with more able than me, could be a great gimmick.

I have the LCT and I've played with the JG. The LCT is a lovely thing really realistic solid reasonable to shoot out of the box Real steel parts fit so can style it to look exactly as you want but...... It weighs a ton, its a beast to carry for a few hours Mid cap mags feed unreliably (can be fixed but needs modding) Only reasonable to shoot, needs work to make it shoot well Expensive I have had mine upgraded to a DMR @ 1.88J, in this configuration it's well worth the weight penalty (in my opinion). I carry 3x high cap mags into game and it shoots very consistently, has great range and punch. Locked to semi only 6.02 mm maple leaf barrel 4uantum hop rubber and nub m130 spring Warhead base brushless motor To me the LCT is worth the extra spend and that's why I chose it but I wanted a big heavy, chunky DMR to upgrade and keep in the collection to pick off players out of range of the typical site automatic rifle/SMG. If I want to go light and full auto I would take a SMG. The JG is significantly cheaper and lighter but I wanted a G3 that felt like a G3 and shot like a 7.62 rifle should compared to a 5.56 or 9mm (in Airsoft form and within site limits) Very light Reasonable to shoot out of the box Very cheap Significantly easier to carry all day but...... Feels cheap, it creaks and flexes Only reasonable to shoot Didn't want to spend the same as the rifle cost on upgrades

Hello ladies and gents, it's a year since I started brainstorming about building an HK11/HK21. It will never be as cool (and as expensive!) as the one made by Dave's Custom Airsoft, but the idea is building something to make your head turn to. I find myself stuck on a rather simple but important question: which AEG to start from? From my point of view the choices are two, maybe three: 1) LCT G3: heavy, realistic, super cool. The cons? Price and magazines. Perhaps hop up, too? Please enlighten me regarding this RIF; 2) Classic Army G3 (CA010M) : cheaper, metal body (even if it's zinc alloy isn't much appreciated), TM compatibility. This would be my go-to choice since having standard gearbox and parts, but the potmetal body is sometimes referred as very weak and generally not worth it; 3) JG G3: This isn't much of a choice for me since it has a plastic body, but it could be worth it for building a lighter LMG while not breaking the bank on the base gun. What to keep in mind: while I don't want to break the bank and find myself living under a bridge guarding my beloved RIFs from rats I think I can invest in this kind of unique project. LMGs don't get much love here in Italy, but I play for having fun and an HK11/HK21 would be A LOT of fun. So here we are to the question: what would you choose and why? I'm particularly interested in listening to first hand impressions on the LCT G3 and CA G3 since I never hold them in my hands nor know people who have those. Thank you in advance, Cheers!
