    Yup, it's a common issue. Airsoft "STANAG" mags can have significant differences in dimensions, particularly the location of the feed. For example, one of my Specna mags vs the 'Nam style shortie mags that I use when I'm DMRing. Knowing this, I determined that I needed to add 1mm on the front of the shortie mag with tape/velcro, and as a consequence, shave 0.5mm off the back. Notice that the Specna also has a conical feed lip, while the shortie has a vertical one, so I also gave mine a slight bevel with a dremel. Observe, measure, and modify.

    Russian PNV-10T NVG, produced in Russia using what I believe is an Ekran Gen2+ tube. The tube itself is extremely crisp with no blems or damage at all. Powered via x2 AA batteries, very simple! These units used to be plentiful but since the Ukraine war they've dried up almost completely and if you do find one for sale from Russia it will never get out of the country. Unfortunately the pictures I've taken through it do not even remotely do the capabilities of the tube justice as anyone who's ever tried will agree with. Trying to take picture while holding the unit is much easier said than done! The tube's clarity is significantly better in person, I can't say that enough!!! The PNV-10T are basically one of the best "cheap" NVG starters you could find when it comes to performance vs price. The unit has had very little usage and is in immaculate condition, I brought it right before COVID hit and it's remained in it's bag save for a couple of nighttime walks in the woods so it's time to move it on. It will come with a custom adapter so it can be used with a Notoros Rhino mount meaning you aren't stuck using the skull crusher. This makes the NVG much more usable if you want to use a "western" type of mount as the mounting interface it uses is very rare and basically impossible to find outside of Russia. The adapter fixes this issue perfectly! Package includes: PNV-10T NVG Padded bag NVG bag Skullcrusher head mount Rhino mount adapter x4 magnified lens Separate external battery packs (I assume for the unit to be powered via a BMP or T90 if you have either one of those laying around...)     That baofeng should never have a range that short - it's either defective, or (more likely) the frequencies aren't programmed in correctly. If that is the case, then you will be getting very short range comms still with bleed through. I've had clear as a bell comms with identical spec baofeng at 6km in undulating woodland. Even dense urban, on uhf, should give you a reliable 500m or so. Got to say, when I used the real harris radios, the range wasn't really any better (but obviously so much better in terms of quality and feature set).

    Hiya, Yes the team has a license that gives a “frequency” to use from my understanding. in terms of what I mean by range I may not be using the correct term, but Incan be less than 100m from my team and they can’t hear me. I’ve tried several different antennas with the Baofeng, but just though either way if I’m upgrading stuff then I may as well with the radio too. Any advice on what to use in terms of PTT/download for the setup?

    I cleared a pillbox once by shouting grenade and lobbing a Mr Kipling apple pie through the front. This was a regular skirmish. No one was declared dead (and I wouldn't expect them to be) but they did run out the back doorway like their arse was on fire. All fair and above board. But grabbing someone else's pyro is not on really. Diversion or distraction is fair enough if using your own gear and initiative.

    As much as I like this gun I just bought an MCX so must go. Has ware as shown from use and mounting optics but otherwise in good condition. Originally black although lower receiver has been switched to tan. Only thing to note is the tan lower receiver has had a small bit that holds the trigger guard on snap although does not affect function and is held on well by the pin so only noticeable if you’re looking for it. Because of this issue the receiver has not been included in the final price. Will come with: -Genuine BCM trigger guard -Genuine BCM grip -Genuine BCM stock -Replica Geiselle charging handle -Spare black receiver with VFC furniture -3x V3 Stanags -NPAS valve Total value for the lot is £900 so will do £650 with postage and PayPal fees covered.
