ADVENTURES IS BEING A BORN AGAIN BIKER...... Dropped it. Not in a lobbed it down the road way, i literally missed my footing on laid it down on its side. I developed superhuman strength and lifted it back on to the rubber bits. Then spent three weeks sporting several strains and pulled things. HOLY CRAP theyre heavy. Then i went out for a ride, started fishtailing down a hill, towards a junction as there was diesel all over the road after a split fuel tank had covered the road. SHAT MA PANTS.... Still. All good fun...

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Egon_247 replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
What have i just bought? hmm. Whilst on "holiday" in cornwall, we decided to go and find an airsoft shop. BR airsoft was found. went for a visit (great chap in there and very nice little shop too) and bought some of these CO2 granades, Hakkotsu apparently. Uses a CO2bulb and a plastic bottle to cause an ear splitting POP. I get that im probably about 3 years late to the party, as usual, but these are absolutely hilarious. Tempted to fill with bb's and/or baby powder... Got the 20+ year old TM G36C up and running, although i dont think i'll be skirmishing it anytime soon. Its a bit of a lump. -

And now the listing's gone again. I don't think it's a coincidence that the listings disappear after they're called out here. 😁

My sons Silverback SRS A2 16". Currently fitted with a Wolverine BOLT HPA system, he's transitioned onto a wolverine mtw DMR now so it's not getting used. (No hpa bottle, regulator or line Inc so you'd need that) If you'd rather the spring, I've included the upgraded spring setup it was running prior to hpa, which also includes the Sniper Mechanic WASP piston. So it's maxed out whichever way you want to run it. Upgrades: Barrel Silverback hop unit Super Macron bucking and Omega nub Vector scope 3D printed M4 mag adapter (works great) 2x original SRS magazines. Great condition, accurate and field-ready maxed out sniper, not really possible to do much more to one!!. £650 open to offers Collection preferable at my home or meet at local Airsoft site were you could use it for a game to make sure you're happy with it. Bank transfer or cash only, no PayPal Trade for gen12 wolverine or an article 1 variant.650.00 GBP

Around £90+ spent on parts but never dealt with the prime problem with the Firehawk 🙄 (its absolutely shit mechanical trigger, which leads to jams on semi, so it just needs a basic optical controller / ETU with cycle control and then its a great CQB AEG)...

For sell VFC MP7 + 4 mags leak free. Changed inside: Barrel for 180mm crazy jet Rubber for tagard green A type to prevent overchambering (known issue with vfc) Back plate replaced for aluminum one from Clutch Precision I will include: Stock backplate without the latch Stock rubber and barrel Also there are 2 OG VFC bolts both with NPAS. One has yellow jaeger npas second CLPD Adjustable Floating Valve both set to 1J. There is also a 3rd nozzle included, new and unpacked. Both bolts have screws replaced for proper ones not made from butter. You will also get: VFC suppressor, WADSN modelite short torch on repro haley torch mount and 1 point sling (not in the picture) and 3d printed speed loader It shoots great and is really accurate but you need to use at least 0.32 and preferably 0.36. Then this thing is a laser. There is one CON. On full auto not all bbs are hopped properly. I tried to take a look at a heavy recoil club discord and this looks like more a platform issue and not this particular RIF is a problem. To sum it all up on single it shoots far and accurately, on full auto some bbs can drop after 25/30m. It might be related to 150% recoil spring included with clutch precision backplate. For me it was not an issue as for CQB its single only most of the time. Bolt catch works! Please contact me if you want me to send you some videos on whats app. For everything above: £400 I prefere collection at South London - Croydon borough I can ship with parcel force and take payment via paypal but on full buyer resposibility as you can insure low powered air gun. Standard compensation just in case something happen with a parcel - £150400.00 GBP

Do you know any indoor sites near the romford/lakeside area by any chance?

If you take the feed lip off the mag and just file down the bottom surfaces in the feed tube it should be good. If it’s still happening I’d guess it’s a nozzle or feed lip issue. If you are taking the feed lip off then gently file all the sharper edges of it, plus the feed ramp into the barrel. Everything around that area is very sharp and can chew BB’s. It won’t be a disconnector issue, the trigger will just go dead if that’s broken. Photos attached of where I gently file the top of my mags (also the inner parts of the lip) @EvilMonkeeSorry I’ve just re-read your original issue, didn’t realise you need to re-cock every few shots, thought it was just a feed issue. I’d check your hammer axles to make sure they aren’t broken. Unfortunately not easy to do without taking pretty much everything else out. Sometimes they crack but will still operate intermittently until it wears down the surfaces between. Here’s what they shouldn’t look like!

I was gonna get the Laylax BBU and nozzle, guide rod and 150% spring, will that be enough?

This was my report of Mayhem from April this year: "On arriving, I couldn't find anyone to check in with; three of us eventually found someone in the shop/office. While everyone was prepping their kit, there was a fair amount of dry firing in the safe zone, which didn't seem to worry the staff. The real disappointment was the games. Mayhem is very much a paintball site, with a number of different fields that could provide some interesting gameplay. However, the four games that we played in the morning all involved the teams starting on opposite sides of a field and having to do something (move a flag, capture a flag, capture a jerrycan) that was a mechanism to bring the teams into contact. This ended up with two lines of players shooting at each other; there was no real possibility to be sneaky or to try something creative. I found it rather boring. If you are considering going, be aware that they do not do hot food. There are vending machines for fizzy drinks, chocolate and crisps and a tea/coffee dispenser, all of which take contactless payments. One positive element is that, despite what it states on their website, they chrono on the weight of BB that you are using." Airsoft Plantation is a site that I really like; it is well run and the games work well. Splatoon is usually a good day, although there tends to be a little too much time spent hanging around. Apocalypse is very popular and gets some very positive reviews; I find the marshalling to be poor. Skirmish Billericay seems to have a reasonably large and loyal fan base; I found it rather disappointing due to some of the game modes (30 people crammed into one small building). Try a range of sites and see which ones suit you.

Can’t be any worse than raptor/twi and their gas stuff… V3 then give up fixing it 😂

Seems a bit dodgy to me at £300… Base gun (Assuming it’s a gen 3 but no mention of that) is £550 Looks to be a HAO mlok handguard, £200 over here new HW S1 Eotech £140 over here Sotac NGAL again over here £150 So just over £1k and excluding any “internal upgrades” as nothing was shown or mentioned for £300. I bet he asks for bank transfer or F&F 🤔

What other sites do you recommend? I keep seeing Mayhem site being mentioned.

Maybe it's part of the special kind of logic system I've heard most of them use. It's called Nonce-sense. - Unrelated; Two cigarettes are in a bar, one's bragging about how tough he is. Hardest cig in town he claims. As he's talking, a cigarette with a green ring marked near the filter and the cig that was bragging goes quiet and tries to blend in and not be noticed. His mate notices and raises an eyebrow. "I thought you were the hardest cig round here?" he asks. The bragger looks at him with fear in his eyes and replies; "Yeah but I ain't messing with him, he's menthol. Other side of the pub a similar situation is happening, but it's 2 bits of tarmac. One's bragging about how hard he is. Suddenly, a red piece of tarmac strolls into the bar and the one that was bragging shuts up and goes to slink off to the toilets... His friend looks at him and says "Wait, are you scared of that guy? I thought you were hard?!" The one that had been bragging hisses under his breath "Yeah but I don't wanna piss him off. That guy's a cycle-path!" As all this is going on, a piece of string walks in, approaches the bar, and asks for a pint. The bartender refuses and tells him they don't serve his kind in here. The string sighs and says ok, before heading back out the door. Outside, there's some kind of commotion before the string walks back in, all messed up like he'd been attacked. The string walks up to the bar and asks for a pint again. The bartender says "Aren't you that piece of string that came in a second ago?" The string replies "I'm a frayed knot."

Yes mate, the thing is now to let the planned obsolescence pan out a bit as in - wait for them to do the MK1...let them learn from that and iron out the issues, then let them do the new and improved Mk2 which I will then buy, so a long road yet. 😆
