Jez, I'm surprised you've never had one, I'll be honest, having previously owned one, the stock tm model is mediocre at best, don't get me wrong I've always been a TM fan going way back, sheer workhorses that just keep going, but won't blow your mind with the power output etc.

But I found the psg1 to be mediocre at best, creaky body, lacklustre performance & just not a quality gun feel.

Obviously your previous hk projects have been spot on, I think you'd be a lot happier with a self built psg1, although I don't know how difficult it is to source the various components that set it aside from the G3 range of guns ?.

Mines still up for sale. Shame I just can't hold on to it any more. I don't see myself getting back into airsoft anytime soon. 

 

Love the G3 system would love to upgrade this but parts so pricy and difficult to find these days. 

 

Hoping someone does some good with it.
