Armourer Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I for one don't really like shorter carbines or snub nose weapons like. They look horrible and i don't know, just looks like a pugdog having a sneeze. I prefer longer, more aerodynamic rifles. I know you can change the stock to make them appear longer but what about you guys? Do you prefer longer rifles or shorter carbines. Pic is a L85 Carbine btw
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 isnt that an afv, not a carbine?... anyway, i much prefer longer rifles, not sure why just do. I dont like anything shorter than a standard m4a1, my g36c feels weird (but im changing that anyway) I've always prefered the looks of rifles like the slr, m14, g3 etc compared to shorter rifles Then again i play as a marksman so thats half the reason why
Supporters Liam Porter Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Dislike shorter guns too, hence the silencer on my L96..
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 you going to lengthen your g36 yeah, itll be a full length E eventually. Just need money first....
Supporters Liam Porter Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Wouldn't it had made more sense to buy the WE G39e in the first place?
Nickona Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Dislike shorter guns too, hence the silencer on my L96.. compensating for something?
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Wouldn't it had made more sense to buy the WE G39e in the first place? I did but they sent the wrong one, and lazy as i am i didnt really care- i was busy lubing it up to play with it
Supporters Liam Porter Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Oh :L, I'm like that with things. But aren't they differently priced? And it'll cost you to make it longer..
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Yeah, i paid £20 more than its worth, and looking back i shouldve sorted it out... ah well, too late now
Nickona Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 most painful thing having to send my cargo pack back cuz it was the worng colour,
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 If im honest, i just wanted to show it of to Nick the following day
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 You feel bad? Good, gimme £20 and then we can both be happy
Supporters Finius Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 It's not the size, it's how you use it...
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Did you know a panda's penis is only an inch long
Nickona Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Did you know a panda's penis is only an inch long thanks Marcus, thanks a lot
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Just putting it out there, people need to know these things
Supporters Nutster Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 Did you know a panda's penis is only an inch long No wonder they're going extinct then As for size, I'm not too fussed, though I run a 10" m4 in woodland, and have seen an mp5k put to good use in woodland aswell. So as finius says its not the size it's how you use it
Supporters M_P Posted December 29, 2011 Supporters Posted December 29, 2011 though I run a 10" in woodland Jesus, you could poke someones eye out with that
Supporters TheFull9 Posted December 30, 2011 Supporters Posted December 30, 2011 I only own one rifle that's longer than a standard M4 and that's a bolt action, really didn't get along with it the couple of times I've skirmished it. I like to stick to the middle ground really as I'm not a fan of the really tiny weapons, though I like a decent CQB AR-15 for the light weight and ease of running around sometimes. Overall of course you can't go wrong with a bullpup. L85A2: M16A4 length barrel in an M4A1 sized weapon.
