The S-System rails I had basically replaced the entire upper receiver, if you can find some that fasten on using the standard top rail then you shouldn't have any problems.

The delta ring wasn't needed for mine as far as I can remember, so yah, I imagine any you find'll fit so long as they just bolt onto the standard picatinny top rail.

okay cheers, so the s-system is kind of like aCASV in the way it replaces the top rail?

also are there any other RIS handguards that'll fit a battery inside?

Well its a piggyback style rail. It attaches onto the upper receiver rail like an optic mount woild.

The casv also attaches to the barrel nut but I dont think the s system does.

A CASV can hold a 9.6 nunchuk but I doubt you could find one, cant think of any others that will

Just stumbled across this whilst looking for M16 front ends:

S-System kit for the ICS, job's a good'un.

Though I'm not sure how you'd get the battery into it...

If i had some sweet £400 gun then yea maybe but i don't :)

BTW Forums have been very quiet recently

I didn't think the price was that bad, considering how small the market is for things like that.

But, S-Systems are probably the most damned fugly things in the universe, I'm surprised they aren't given away for free so the manufacturers don't have to look at them anymore lol.

I'm going to be ordering the L85 RIS before the end of January and I even need an adaptor for that to work, it's going to cost me about £145 and that won't even get me the grip and ACOG mount I want, they'll be extra.

But, totally worth it.

£130ish for a rail set like that is a bargain!

Ok, not a bargain, but you won't find anything significantly better I bet.

yea but you're pay a lot for the gun bit, i didn't :)

might get a copy from HK but will get a tightbore first.

as for looks, wasn't a massive fan at first but they've grown on me :)

Did you get your M4 second hand then, or something? I thought all models of the M4 were around the £250+ range?

My L85 was only £319 and by the time I come to skirmishing it I'll have spent more than that on extras, so spending half the gun's price on one item seems totally justified if you're me lol...

Damn, why do I set myself these ludicrous goals that I totally can't afford?

Airsofting is a curse. It needs to be added to Finius' book of dark magic, which he undoubtably does have, somewhere lol.

Yea its second hand ICS, had a few issues but sorted them out, and you can get M4s for a lot less, just have to be smart

I try to get most of my stuff second hand as long as its good quality, saves a lot in the long run
