Very torn on what airsoft gun to buy, URG-I's preference.

I'm an airsoft ‘beginner’ who has been playing on and off for 3 years. All this time I've been airsofting with rented guns from sites or using really old used guns. I have found an extreme liking for this sport. Now I think it's time to change all that. And out of my obsession with US Special Forces I would love to purchase a gun that has the URG-I 14 inches looking. Because in my opinion it is probably the best military spec AR in history. My questions:

Where should I purchase this gun from TM?

Are there better alternatives on the market? (Similar performance at a lower price or Better performance for a similar price)

-I am on a budget of £600 or less

-and have very basic hands-on skills limited to screwing or smashing

I don't mind waiting another 3 months if a new gun comes on the market in the future.

I bought a TM NGRS 416 Delta, which is the same internally, and i love it. I'd definitely recommend it, great out the box, the fit/finish/quality is second to none.

Only thing i'd say you want to do out the box is convert the battery connector to take a mini Tamiya/Deans and run a 7.4v LiPo. Swapping the inner barrel and hop rubber will give you an instant boost in accuracy, range and power and isn't too complicated.

I'm very new to airsoft and started with GBBs, but now have two NGRS and they're great guns. Took my 416 out on the last game and it was flawless.

I bought mine from Zero One, who i can't recommend enough. I've used them a lot recently and they've been great.

Fyi, don't buy from Tokyo Marui Airsoft. That's not actually TM. They're using TM's name without consent. Pretty dodgy.

Plenty of UK shops. Or WGC Shop, Boom Arms etc in HK.

Impulse101 in Japan.

OHHHH I really would have ordered from this dodgy site if you hadn't warned me. They even sent me a stock back notify email today, just after I clicked on the restock alert  yesterday. In retrospect I'm really glad I had your alert. Thank you so much!

No problem. You won't be disappointed, they're beautifully made and the electric recoil is nice.

Definitely worth looking at buying from Zero One. I've used them a lot lately, including buying mine from them and they're great. (In fact another gun from them arrived today.)

And don't bother with the dedicated battery. Conversion to 7.4v LiPo is really easy and a way better option.

What part of London are you in? I'm in NW near Cricklewood Lane/end of M1.

I'm very close to the Elephant and Castle railway station.

If I want to modify the gun later. Like the Geissele trigger, Rail, pull handle, and Magpul stock, grip. Can they be fitted to this TM replica?

You'd have to take the whole gearbox apart to change the trigger, can be done for sure but depends how confident you are taking the gun right down to components.  It also comes with a copy of an early type Geissele Mk16 rail and it has a Geissele style charging handle already, so not sure why you'd change them?  You can put on whichever airsoft or real stock you like but obviously it has to have room for your battery.  Pistol grip is an easy swap with some screw drivers for any AR AEG grip and there's chinese copies of Magpul pistol grips out there under various names, but of course be sure to refit the motor properly and adjust accordingly.
