Hi all,

Looking to convert an AEP to LiPo and just wondering if there would be any issue with using the battery linked below?

Its not deans so would need changing but otherwise I can't think why it wouldn't? The size is also less than the battery included on the gun so should fit fine.

Any feedback or tips appreciated.

Cheers

A bit small on the capacity side but they'll do fine if you are not using it much.

The Cyma AEPs that come with factory lipo have 800mAh batteries in them. It barely fits, but it fits.

I assume they are manufactured to the absolute max size though, I doubt you would be able to find an aftermarket one of that size would you?

Having said that these are 500mAh and still smaller than the NiMa that came with it

Wiring and plugs can take up a surprising amount of space.  Should otherwise be good though.  I use:

Which at 45 x 17 x 14 mm are actually bigger in cross section than those 500s.

I use the big foot batteries in my tm g18c they are 680mah 7.4v lipo and they fit very easily and comfortably.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I've ordered the 680mAh 7.4v AEP lipo from Taiwangun so I'll let you all know if it's fitted okay and how well it worked :)
