Enid_Puceflange Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Hi folks, I need a little bit of guidance here....... I have been running my Krytac Trident II on the top 11.1v battery in the photo , and have been getting a days play out of it no issues. One of my chums is selling up and donated me the larger 11.1v that’s in the photo ( bottom one) It has different figures on it , even though an 11.1v....... My question is, Will I get a longer days play out of using the larger battery ? Or will I notice snappier response & quicker rate of fire ? ??♂️ I don’t want to try it in case I burn anything out. Batteries are a total mystery to me Thanks in advance
Supporters jcheeseright Posted October 19, 2019 Supporters Posted October 19, 2019 mAh is the capacity of the battery, it'll have a higher maximum discharge rate but the voltage will be the same. Short answer; yes more shots, no added stress.
Enid_Puceflange Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 Thanks guys so it’s a bigger fuel tank , not a more powerful petrol ?
Supporters Lozart Posted October 21, 2019 Supporters Posted October 21, 2019 The main advantage will be longer runtime BUT the bigger battery also has a higher discharge capability (30C vs 20C) so IF your gun is able to take advantage of that then you should also see a slight performance advantage.
