Hawkkw
Hi Guys, I'm new to Airsoft and I've been looking at the different types of guns out. I just have a couple of question. Is a HP gun the same a HP paintball gun i.e. you need a air tank that be filled up to 3000psi Will the weapon act like a real rifle moving working parts What is the fps that sites insist on, when I used to play competitions it was below 300fps Thanks in advance Hawkkw
E21A
Yea, you need an air tank if using HPA. Depends on the system Most sites are 350 FPS limit for full auto capable guns. Something semi locked will vary between 400-
Supporters Prisce Posted August 18, 2019 Supporters Share Posted August 18, 2019 Welcome, Yes, Yes, ish, (there is recoil) Legal limits are same as all RIFS , 350fps with a .2g BB for a weapon capable of full auto, 450fps with .2 for single shot, 500fps with .2 for a Bolt Action.(just above these actually as it’s measured in joules, but it’s easier to say this) Site limits change per site, check each site website for specific details. @E21A Just beat me. Mostly Retired Moderators L3wisD Posted August 18, 2019 Mostly Retired Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2019 Sounds like you need a Tippmann M4. HPA. It has great recoil (which you can make heavier with mods) It's loud and aggressive sounding. Can be stripped - sort of - like a real weapon. Takes any AEG magazine. Makes you smile every time you pull the trigger..
