Personally I’d use propane because it’s cheaper and a little more efficient, but the green nuprol 2.0 cans will work well too

Wo1f is on the mark. Pretty much all the 'green' gases are propane without the added leak detection scent. Propane is £2 to £5 /kg. The airsoft propanes are £20-£40/kg.

I use the nuprol 2.0 simply because I can’t stand the smell of the rothenberger propane I can get around me. Smell is worse than leaving the cooker on an makes me gag ? definitely would be cheaper though

So do the propane cans have the same nozzle to fit gas mags or do you have to have an adaptor ?

You’ll need an adapter. Madbull make a good one

For most guns, propane is perfectly fine in winter. If you feel like it struggles with it, you can just buy MAPP gas and use the same adapter. I’ve had mags in the freezer that have worked with MAPP
