Root Admin proffrink Posted November 27, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted November 27, 2016 The LBX Assaulter belt is a slightly bulkier version of the Crye Precision Modular Riggers Belt, a nice bit of kit but the Ronin style beats it in pretty much every way. Here in the UK one option is the Intelligent Armour CT operator's belt (http://www.body-armour-protection.co.uk/IA-CT-Team-Operators-Belt.html) - what the guys from Airsoft International actually use, not my cup of tea though. Alternately FRV Tailoring are a pretty new outfit that are doing Ronin Tactics style belts (Ronin is really a reseller for AWS, but that's beside the point!) here: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/johnji1033?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 With the amount you're actually sticking on there though any old stiffened 'gun belt' will do the job, it certainly doesn't need PALS webbing to carry that stuff as if you arrange it right your belt loops will keep everything in place. As an aside, I rate the warrior assault systems roll up dump pouch over the maxpedition one, it's got a better stiffener in the opening and a draw cord closure that works independently. Maxpedition is basically a bag that hangs off your belt. Really liking the look of those FRV ones. Sent a message asking if they can do them in CB. Katana
Really appreciate all of your help guys...I too am interested in the FRV ones. Pretty much exactly what I was shooting for. I just don't want to lug around something if it's gonna slide all over me and ride up etc. You had any experience with them. Are they any good? The IA CT Operator belt looks sweet as well. More steering towards the FRV for la multicam. Quick question: How many sizes up should I order belts? I'm a 34" waist so I should order a 36"-38"? Root Admin proffrink Posted November 27, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted November 27, 2016 They can't do any colour but Multicam until January for anyone wondering. Buy the size that fits you or you'll have too much molle and it'll bunch up or ripple. I was in the same boat as you thinking I'd need a 36" but did some Googling and apparently it's wise to stick to your exact waist for molle belts. Supporters jcheeseright Posted November 27, 2016 Supporters Share Posted November 27, 2016 One would say the price of there products are good I wouldn't even say that, you can buy EVERY item they sell cheaper on aliexpress, that's all they do, buy in bulk from china, stick a label on it and charge double
Baz JJ
Have you looked at the 5.11 and Blackhawk kit on Tactical Kit ? Not studied in detail but seems good value. Ive learnt my lesson with belt buckles and wouldnt bother with the plastic clip type which are hard to adjust once set. Much prefer the cinch type that can be adjusted on the move based on loading etc.

Apparently they fold over themselves if the kit gets too heavy which I didn't really want to risk. This FRV tailored belt is good for taking on and off really quickly too as if I got a battle belt, I would have to get a harness for it which might be awkward.
