Mos
^ yes ! Lord S was informed of the sport, and why we have that exception, and why that exception is so important to a lot of Airsoft. He was informed, he realised why we have it, he understands it's all good to have the exception, he withdrawed his change and that was thst. Well done to everyone who did something Good seeing the people get what the people want.
Jason8
I note this morning on UKAPU's Facebook page that Matt Furey-King is now saying we are still in some hot water regarding the EU laws proposal regarding airsoft. He also said yesterday that social media isn't the place to discuss legalities and there's nothing about this latest post on the actual UKAPU site itself..I wish he'd make his mind up. Yams
He didn't actually say that at all Jason8. Matt was making the distinction between two very different sets of legislation that had the power the screw airsoft to bits, going on to say the EU based stuff was mostly put to bed, "One (almost) down, one to go". Far too many people thought this was just part of the same issue so when ASG did their press release a few weeks ago saying how the EU stuff had been defeated people thought anything about the Policing and Crime Bill or issues in the Lords was scaremongering as problem had been sorted.... Jason8
He did, to be fair though it was on a Facebook 'group' page. Wasn't a blog post either it was more of a reply to a particular post.
sniperslucky
All sounds like the Brit Ex talks so much BS and not enough straight talk, if it impacts airsoft and our guns then fine, if its just away of getting member to a new association then NO!. Don't do the half ass post which leads us all confused and in the dark. We deserve more and we should stick together for our sport.
Supporters jcheeseright Posted September 5, 2016 Supporters Share Posted September 5, 2016 Brit ex? Wtf are you on about? The images UKAPU posted contained nothing but facts, the additional fact that a lot of people that read them lacked the political acumen to know what those facts mean isn't their fault. Sacarathe
I'm just glad I only peddled the "he's doing it for money" line in quotes from UKAPU.
