mimozine Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 hi guys was putting my classic army ca8-2 back together and the end has snapped off the bolt that holds the magwell in place. anyone know where i can buy a spare? or does anyone have a spare one they dont need? thx
Root Admin proffrink Posted May 12, 2016 Root Admin Posted May 12, 2016 You mean literal machine screws/fasteners or the cocking handle/bolt handle? If it's the former then eBay is your best bet for very low quantities and specific dimensions so long as you know what size it is.
mimozine Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 no its the pin that holds the magwell in place. goes just in front of the trigger guard. only the last 5mm or so is treaded and its a different diameter to the rest of the bolt.
Governor Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Just to clarify, do you want the pin and the bolt that goes into it? Or just the small bolt on its own?
Aunty Pasty Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I know the pin you mean. I managed to strip the threads off mine when I tried to take apart my G36 for the first time. Tapped out the pin instead of using a hex key to undo the top.
Fumps Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 If you can give me the info I may be able to help you out.
