ronin677 Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 So after going to a couple of great Viet Nam based events lately, I decided to weather my JG M16A1. After the taking the rifle completely apart, I had the metal parts sand blasted back to bare aluminium. I then treated them with Birchwood Casey Aluminium Black, before using wire wool to take them almost all the way back down again. A quick wipe with WD40 on the metal finished the job. Then put it all back together together again
Jason8 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Looks the bollocks mate. You've done a really great job and way suits the era much better than the 'out of the box look'. Now you just need to get those OG's dirty!
