At the moment I'm choosing combat shirt in multicam. Options: Crye G3\AC + new from Drifire, Patagonia, 5.11, Tru Spec Xtreme, Massif, maybe some others. Any comparison reviews on them?

Best one to get if you can find one your size are the surplus issue ones. My mate has a few copy one and there no where near same quality of genuine issue ones.

If the tru spec xtreme is made out of the same material as the ACU tactical response shirt(which it looks like it is) then it's a bit like wearing a piece of tarp. The build quality is fine but it's really coarse material and for some reason the backing on the velcro patches on the arms is so rigid it forms a V shape that you can't stop.

Can't vouch for the others, I use an OPS gen 2 direct action shirt which is noticeably better than the ACU above. Mine is Multicam Tropic though so surplus isn't an option :)

I've heard a surplus UBACS is the best combat shirt for airsoft purposes. At least that's CKinnerley's opinion and he's had Crye, Massif etc.

Only had a Helikon one myself.

ill be honest idk what any of what you said means, but you can get proper issue mtp shirts for £10-£15

Having owned and still own the Crye AC and Massif ACS, I would say go with the Massif. Its super comfortable and a really rugged well built combat shirt plus you can get them really cheap on ebay now. The Crye AC is a nice shirt but its expensive and hard to justify sometimes. I also prefered the material the Massif shirts are made from compared to the Crye. Its like an elasticy stretch material compared to Cryes which is what a normal jacket/trousers are made from.

I have quite a few various shirts/under armour.

My favourite is my UF-Pro kit, which is very Gucci (and has a price tag to match,

Second is the Tru-Spec kit I won in a FaceBook comp, really lovely kit (and I prefer the camo Multicam Tropic camo pattern of this to the Slocam of the UF-Pro).

Third is my Helicon kit, really good quality but compared to the above is not quite as technical

My Truspec trousers have pockets for knee-pads.

I'm also currently in the stuck buying UBACS boat, only thing I know is I want OD or Multicam Tropic.

Currently this is highest on my list:

But need to find matching trousers with inbuilt knee pads before I spend that kind of money.

what you mean? Put them on and run around pretending to be a soldier! :D

or you mean the knee pad pockets? Get some camping mat and cut it to shape for the pockets with a couple of cutouts on the bends of your joints so they form around your elbow/knees! :-)
