Looking for a FAL

i like the look of a FAL but havent really looked into them to much before. Anyone got any good suggestions where to get one? what type to go for ? and the overall pros and cons of the gun itself?

The only FAL about is the King Arms one IIRC. They're not in stock at any trusted retailer.

I think Ares do one too. But you might have to get someone like zero one to order it in for you.

This is the only version I could find in stock at my usual retailers (aka ones I trust not to rip me off). That said it is a "short" version of the rifle:

It's worth ringing them up since there's not much info on the website about it. I'm presuming it's electric (since there's never been a gas one to my knowledge) and based on the king arms model (most likely). A review says it's around 320 FPS but it's better to get the shop to chrono it for you.

there is a jg exactly the same as the cyber-gun one, half the price...

£250 for a cyber gun is a bit ridiculous.

FAL or SLR? Basically the same bar the round they fired - and pretty much impossible to find in Airsoft format - Ares and King Arms both made them and stopped production - I would say your best bet is actually some of the Cold War airsoft forums and Facebook groups.

Decided to scrap the hunt for a FAL at the moment as seems to be hard to find somewhere with it in stock as most have either discontinued it or are out of stock for a while. maybe will look at some sort of DMR
