Airsoft_Mr B
I have the second one in OD but should have got the first one, can definitely reccommend it. Would have linked it to you myself but Mack beat me to it By the way you should probably be asking these kit related questions in Guns, Gear and Loadouts. Russe11
Also worth looking at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F51MZXO/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have this one in Woodland and Coyote Taiwangun.com does some nice ones, but to get free delivery you need to spend about £50. I've been sorely tempted by the interceptor body armour for £46 So far I have resisted
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 19, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 19, 2014 For your 1st loadout i would suggest you buy 2nd hand surplus from fleabay - be patient and you'll be able to spend less than £20 inc P&P. I suggest this because you have no idea what will suit your body, your style of play, or how different styles of pouches suit your hands etc for ease and speed of mag change plus security of anything stowed. When you've been at it for a while and spoken to a few people about their gear, maybe tried on a couple or three rigs, you'll have a much better idea what to buy for coolsies and for the kit you want to carry. Bear in mind, not all ammo pouches fit all mags - if you want something that will take mags for a CM16 Combat Machine (they're called STANAG mags) they can be pretty tight for security with open tops and a bungy and not fit any other mags, somewhat looser and fit AK-74 but not AK-47, all the way to very loose with a long flap, a press stud and velcro so it fits anything. A G3, for eg, fires 7.62mm x 51, as opposed to the newer NATO 5.56mm (M4), so the mag is wider front to back, then there's Sig mags which are 5.56mm but stacked slightly differently so they are wider side to side, similar to G36 mags... so you may want to buy something which will suit you for the gun you'll be using first and the gun you think you may/will buy next. There's also other things you may wish to carry: a long list of possibilities from chewing gum to a GPS handset, via multitools, pyro's, and comms... not forgetting LX tape, cable ties, chocolate, water, see what i mean? Barely scratched the surface lol! Check this this molle too different pattern assault vest There's loads of those Desert DPM ones going with the full set of pouches and they're so cheap these days that they're worth buying for the 40mm nade pouches alone (because they're bloody useful for BFG's, ball pyro's, rolls of tape, mars bars, mozzie repellent, etc...) and if you end up wearing MTP camouflage, Multicam, A-TACS AU, etc, they won't look bad with it, especially if you put a dusting or a few blobs of OD spray paint on them (as troops did in Iraq and Afghan).
