Supporters Esoterick Posted January 28, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 28, 2014 IIRC there's a question hanging over the VFC 416 reliability, no? BTW, does anyone know if you can buy a 416 receiver on its own? Yeah I forget the specifics but some of the internals seem to give up the ghost after a couple of months, but they get hilariously mixed reviews. Hurricane make a 416 receiver kit which is meant to be pretty decent.
Sam_G
I know a few lads that have had major issues with their VFC 416s and 417s. I have had no major issues with my VFC (not a 416) just the tappet plate broke. Other than that it is epic and i use it more than my TM SCAR. Supporters Lozart Posted January 28, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 28, 2014 Just to clarify: DEVGRU is the shorthand for United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG). Seal Team Six was officially disbanded in 1987. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Naval_Special_Warfare_Development_Group
Nickona
I should also add it is only DEVGRU who use HK416s, all other SEAL teams use M4s as their 5.56 platform

Cheeky vimto
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/China-Made-Airsoft-Aluminium-Fore-Grip-Tri-Rail-Handguard-with-Cover-For-MP5-/141009815283?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item20d4d706f3 Not sure about other makes but on the tokyo marui i had to cut some of the gun away but when the hand guard is on you can't see it. EDIT: A good point about this seller is he paid for most of my customs charges. I complained that he advertised free p&p and he refunded me £10 towards the £12 charges. Got to love the Chinese! Thanks for linking it, how long did it take to get to you? 2 maybe 3 weeks, it was a few months ago. That might of been just the delay from customs.
