Baz JJ
Im interested in a holographic sight with a bit of magnification. Looking around the net, it seems you either buy something like an ACOG or you buy a holosight which has no magnification. Does anybody make some sort of hybrid or do you need to put a magnifier on the rail together with the holo ?
Supporters Lozart Posted August 6, 2013 Supporters Share Posted August 6, 2013 If you want the best of both worlds then yes, you'll need a Holo sight AND a magnifier which can then be hinged out of the way. Alternatively you could look at the ACOG style scopes that also have a Docter Red dot on them:
Mike636
Or you could get a holographic site and a 3 x magnifier separate, https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=eotech+552+and+magnifier&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari#biv=i%7C1%3Bd%7C7g7QWO-YnAlMxM%3A Like that

Just waiting for the right Magnifier to come along.
Baz JJ
Thanks. Im looking at the replica 556 Eotech which uses the Lithium CR123 batteries, so thats interesting. Ive seen a 3x magnifier on Ebay for about £40. Im just wondering how the alignment works when you mix and match between holosight and magnifier makers/suppliers. I see that eotech make both for their real gun products.
