What are your favourite airsoft game types?

A fun example is the merc hid his radio we didnt know he had one so he was able to call for back up why we where distracted defending the village we then had to defend the village from the other team and the three mercs on the other side while our team was off ti the regen point crazy stuff and we lost the villagr abd the mercs escaped

Can you disarm them when you capture them, then? Put handcuffs on 'em? Or do you just have to have somebody pointing a gun at them the whole time?

we actually disarmed them and had some one watch him (had no handcuffs or zipties to hand) to prevent fleeing sneaky bugger even offered to help us if we gave him back his weapons when we where being attacked you don't get board watching the prisoner tho it can become a handful preventing escape and holding the village at the same time

yer i got zipped cuffed when doing civi pop/enemy against some chaps who usually have black lines over their eyes and their good friends from 1 para. i cant say either time it happened was fun! the first i was dragged out head first of a car that a mastif had just rammed, thats the armoured vehicle not a dog, so i wasnt to much in control of that situation. second time i had a lovely german shepeard attempting to eat my throat so i complied v quickly.

TBH the more someone would kick off, the more I'd enjoy doing it :lol: the trick is to slap the first one on without the victim seeing them, so they don't immediately know what is happening. After that its very simple to control the free arm with your dominant hand by twisting it slightly to prevent it from being bent while you use your other hand to pull the 2nd cuff close enough to slap over the wrist. Only then do you tighten them. It can be done in less than a second without the victim getting any chance to resist at all, let alone throw punches...

 

Why? Well the circumstances in which I learned to do it are beyond the scope of this forum, but in the same way that simulated battle is fun, simulated capture and control can also be fun.

If someone did that to me in a game without my consent (which they would never get) I would seriously consider a complaint to the police or give them a gun in the face when they let me go. WHat is the need or justification in an Airsoft game for any kind of restraint?.

 

If the rules of the game allow prisoners and you have to become a prisoner then it should be on your 'honour' that you are taken just like calling your kills.

 

How do you even get taken prisoner unless the rules say that a killed player can be a living prisoner?

I haven't actually played this style, its just something I thought of after playing BF3 Gun Game.
It does require every member to use a pistol and a EAG (which isn't always possible).

Basically its a team DM, everybody starts with a pistol, if you hit somebody, you upgrade to your EAG.

If you have a EAG and you're hit, you are downgraded back to a pistol.
If you're hit with an EAG and you only have a pistol, you bleed out for 2 min.

If you're hit by another pistol, you call the hit and find some cover.

I'm sure the rules could be worked on, iron out some flaws etc.

Sounds good. put in a version of the 'Peg' game to record lives so you start with (say) 5 lives and lose one for each time you are killed until yu are out.

If you kill someone you get a life from them.

It would make it a proper 'Death Match' with players being knocked out until only one was left or time was up.

You guys crack me up have actually smiled at work which is a miricale we just shot said mercs and grabbed them when they called hit works very well i can imagine how intresting things could have got with handcufs and mercs attempting to run tgrough the forrest. sooner i loose the weight and join up the better i think

I like it where the attackers have unlimited lives and have to clear out buildings where the defenders have one life. play it twice, best time wins.

 

on the other hand, when you get a silly amount of players it can get a bit boring being on the attacking team as you got a mob of under 18s with strobe light m4s in front of you rushing into every room before you can reach them. I hope I didn't sound to bitter, it's quite an experience actually ...and darn fun when you're on the defending team.

I'm really up for any type of game, yet I really do like the ones where there's loads of legging it about, medicing and having the sense of your team working together. For example, getting a bomb to a particular building or defending a moving objecting ( the head marshall's Jeep ahahah). Attackers have to have unlimited lives though.

 

If I'm not in the mood for something quite so complex, a straight up death match keeps me entertained.

We played two 'bomb' games. Simple 'get tthe bomb in the enemy base' game and a 'Captaure the Bomb' game where the bomb is placed between two teams and at the start it is a race to capture he bomb and get it to the enemy base.

Two people have to carry the bomb and it cane be taken from them and captured by the other side.

 

'Defend the VIP' is always good as well. VIP is only armed with a Pistol or has no weapon at all and has to be defended for a set time.

To make it more interesting the defending team has limited lives. VIP can be defended in the base or moved and hidden.

i love a bit of the old pistols only games but i do like a bit of the old attacker and defender games like two_zero is on about

The game i lige the most is (in denmark) not played allot and is called infiltrator (I don't know if it's a good translation) ...

 

The idea is that before play all players are lined up in 2 lines (one line for each team), and then the instructors pick a couple (depending on the number of players on the teams) of players on each team. Thease players are known as the infiltrators. And it's ofcause vital that ONLY the infiltrators them self, and NOT ther team mates know they are infiltrators...

 

Then play starts off as a regular play (Usualy a free respawn game)...

And then after 5-10 minuts (time picked at random by the instructors), the instructors blow a horn, signaling all infiltrators to switch teams...

From that point on they are playing at the oter team, and can freely shoot there former team mates in the back ;-)

At the same time the game type switch from free respawn to NO RESPAWN .... So that every player geting shot by the infiltrators have to leave the field ....

 

This type of play gives players a serious paranoia, because you neaver know if your own team mate will shoot you in the back :-)

And because the infiltrators are running with the "wrong" team colors, they are in risk of getting shot by there own new gained team....

 

It makes for allot of caos, and also allot of fun :-)
