Supporters Ian_Gere Posted July 7, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 7, 2013 Welcome to the forums, YA13. I can't join. You see, i'm a 45 year old pervert. Don't worry though, I'd only consider noncing up Nottinghamshire and S Yorkshire teens - It's the £10 and 30-40mins on the train to Derby or Leicester. It just seems too much hassle to go west for a bit of fun...
YoungAirsofter13
Just wondering is it wise to get a GE M4 CQB AEG and should I get into CQB(Indoors) or should I get into large scale games
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 A GE? *A google later* No. No... No. Don't get anything from that website, it gives you aids. Get one of these as a starter gun, cheaper, better, great performance, outstanding quality all around for the price: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318_403_494&products_id=6076 I'd say that CQB is far more intense, but I see it as more of a, once in a while outing instead of as often as I regularly go. It's easier for people to cheat in CQB, and it hurts like an absolute bitch if it hits bare skin, so people can get quite arsey in my experience. Woodland is more relaxed, though to enjoy it you need a gun with the range and accuracy to reach out, otherwise you'll have to get in pretty close and rely on sneaky tactics and good use of cover. It's swings and round abouts really, I go woodland more because it's cheaper and I enjoy picking people off at a distance. CQB is all about fast paced flanks and rush tactics. Though in CQB the guns do all perform better, there's no need to worry about wind as much, and you rarely run into any areas where your gun runs out of range. Supporters Ian_Gere Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 Ed's understating the case against JustBBollocksGuns. It's not just aids, they give you extreme Steatorrhea. But otherwise, you ought to know that he suffers from akophobia. What you really need is one of these: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318_403_494&products_id=8503 Live Free or Die Hard??? everyone loves a Die Hard reference. I intend to die hard. I just think that's the best way to go, even if I have to take Viagra, just in case there is an afterlife...
YoungAirsofter13
I'm looking for a AEG for woodland combat and a good gas pistol and suggestions and just to let you know I live in England and I am new to airsoft so it has to be 2 tone
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 We all live in England lol. Well, the UK. Hence the forum name. You can have the gun I linked two toned, I think there's an option when checking out, it'll up the price by around £20 and extend the delivery time by up to two weeks, but the gun is rock solid. Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies
I thought Golden Eagle was JG,they're OK but require a good amount of tuning out of the box to make up for incompetent Chinese children assembling it. And it seems to be from JBBG,that place gives you a rare disease. Varies from visit to visit. G&G Combat machines are generally the best out of the box starter guns, along with the CYMA Cm028,that guns being a bit of a gamble because again, depends on who assembles it. Could turn out a piece of shit like the ones I've encountered or a lazer god lightning rifle like Ian's. So,G&G Combat machine AK or M4,depends on tastes. For a starter pistol, there really isn't one. there's cheap pistols and expensive ones. I view them like this: Tokyo Marui KWA (BIg gap in quality) KJW (gap in quality) HFC (gap in quality) WE I don't know any pistols worse than WE,maybe BELL or SRC or whatever. But that's my idea of it. I personally recommend the KJW KP05 Hi capa,on co2 or else it'll be a gas spraying POS. Most modern KJs are Co2 compatible. Other than that, any recent KWA pistol except the 1911s or any recent marui GBB except the m92f. I heard the guy who made the awful TM m92f now works for WE. Also I along with some other few people live in Ireland,so not all UK. More like AF-Roughly around the UK. (Unless you're one of those pricks who consider all of ireland to be UK anyway )
YoungAirsofter13
Thanks but is there any suggestions for AEG's where the battery goes into the stock because isn't it easier to put it in the stock than in the fore end of the gun??
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 You'd put WE last? Having owned two KJW pistols and a WE, as well as TM and playing with a KWA, I'd put WE and KWA on equal footing, then TM, followed by KJW and then have HFC at the very end, bottom bracket. Also, it's not that GE are bad, it's the shop selling them, and that impossibly ridiculous, rip off price they're selling them for.

YoungAirsofter13
Why are SRC mags like £
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 Depends where you look. Look on better shops, try Landwarrior, Fire-Support, Action Hobbies, AirsoftSupplyDrop (a forum sponsor!), ZeroOne, WolfArmouries, Airsoft Armoury, ProAirsoftSupplies, Patrol Base etc etc. Anything with BB in the name, replace with "shit" and reread. For example, JustBBGuns and BBgunsforless become Justshitguns and Shitgunsforless.

Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 It's not bad, but G&G do an identical gun for less, with better performance. Just take the time to browse the site I listed. I'm based in Sheffield.
YoungAirsofter13
Will it fit a scope and does that handle come off because you can tell alot better about airsoft guns than I can
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 If you want SRC mags, you could email Mordred Chiang and order them directly from Taiwan. I've done this with Ares mags before and got a great deal + it's highly unlikely that customs will hit you up for import duty on such a small package. Ask and ye shall receive Mordred's addy

Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted July 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 10, 2013 The options on the link I posted are just to alter the feet per second it fires at, which you'd have to choose depending on the site you play at. Upgrading to an M100 would be your best bet, since I have 3 mates who bought these as their first guns and they came shooting at 370+ which is too hot for all UK sites. An M100 ought to keep it under 350.
