Who's planning on going?

I'm currently balls deep into the logistics of getting a minibus for 3 days for my Uni team to get down there.

Ought to work out under £50 per head for the bus hire, then it's £90 for the actual event + consumables, as well as gathering the kit we might need but don't yet have.

I think it's going to happen though, fairly determined to get there. Copehill looks badass.

Anyone got a kit list together?

What's needed?

Please excuse my Newbie'ness here but I only started Airsoft back in last October.

What's Ai500? Seems pretty big from reading this post so could someone please fill me in?

planning on going this year as I'll be in the country for it, holding off on buying tickets for now though as I'm expecting some fairly invasive surgery over the summer with a long recovery following it.

Maybe Ed, maybe. I'd like to and if I can get in your minibus there's more chance of me going, but money's getting tight and I spose I'd have to invest in some MTP/MC.

There probably will be space for you in the minibus, we could even pick you up on the way down to save you coming to us first. We'll have to see how it goes.

If we can't fill it with my Uni lot then I'll open it up to anyone else that wants in on it, since the more we get the cheaper it'll be.

You don't need MTP though, the teams are split into Tan vs Green and all associated colours and camo patterns that come under those banners.

Yeah I know. But if you lot are wearing MTP/MC there's a good chance I'll end up on the opposite team!

Yeah James, it's possible that by then I might have a late issue Soviet Afghanka. It's proving difficult to find in my size though. It seems that most Russian soldiers who are/were as fat as I am are/were also 5cm shorter...
