My latest project. (comms/helmet set up)

I normally dont use face protection as i find it gets uncomfortable when i had a hat, bowman headset and the face mask all straped around my head. It was even worse when i tried to wear my Fast helmet.

 

SO....i set about fixing the issues. Having a £60 helmet sat in my kit bag was bugging me so i looked into a way of fixing my mesh face mask to it to take the tension of my head.

 

this is what i cam up with:

 

 

 

sumple bit of elastic, taped up untill i can get it sown up with elastic thread.

And picked up a new Z-Tactical Comtac 2 headset

 

 

 

all together

 

 

 

Is VERY comfortable and even worked with the old bowman all day yesterday at The Depot.

That's exactly what I've done with mine Sam, makes will be so much comfier- if I ever get round to buying some arc rails

I do indeed, its a para helmet or something... when I'm back down south it'll be straight to you for painting too

Not sure 100% if it'll take the rails though.... may end up having to get a second one

 

I saw someone on youtube show off their mask in a similar way so did that

Its VERY comfortable!

 

Mine is done in a different way. Using the quick release attachments that come with the rails, Total cost £2 for the elastic.

Oh SNAP! I'm all over this, headed straight down the haberdashery tomorrow for some elastic!
