I'm gonna pick up a cheap 4x32 acog from ebay anyway. Even if I just follow the stream it'll make the gun look better Cheers for all the replies guys. - Ant

So I was thinking of grabbing a 4x32 Acog for my m4 / Scar, and I've used a Susat with my L85. Basically my L85 didn't have the best range and due to being stock it wasn't overly good with the scope, (not bad, but not great). I was thinking since my other two guns are far better I'm thinking I can benefit from an Acog. My question to you guys, are optics worth it? Are aeg's consistent enough to benefit from the magnification (and by extension being 'zeroed in') or due you guys/girls use them as a method to follow the stream at range? - Ant

I bought a TM Recoil Scar L a couple of weeks back, don't get me wrong it performs well but my Combat Machine performs better. Both are stock but one costs £200... What sort of range are you after here? - Ant

+2 For the G&G Combat Machine, my one only has a metal rail but still has a nice feel to it. Plus it's performance is excellent. - Ant

Is there a beginners tech guide or youtube series that any of you can recommend? I've found a few which are kinda helpful in places but almost everything I find give almost no help for actual beginners. So far I've stuck to guns decent out of the box, (Combat machine and TM recoil) but I want to try and learn how to improve internals. I have an ICS L85 that needs some TLC - Ant

I quite like raised sights, i had some knock off raised red dot on it before anyways. Just find it easier to bring up and aim. Plus I can wear lower face pro if needed. - Ant

Hi, I have a SUSAT scope from my L85 and was hoping to mount it onto my m4 as a try out. I've found plenty of ways to convert a 19mm rail to a 20mm but not the other way around. I've also read in my searches that sometimes the SUSAT will simply fit tightly onto the standard rail, this is not the case ^^. Any help is appreciated. - Ant

Thanks for spring advice! I'll order one tomorrow. To answer the motor question I've been told it will increase my RoF. I don't want to upgrade for a 11.1 lipo as it sounds like a lot of work (I know nothing about airsoft internals) - Ant

Would a high torque motor break my stock gearbox? (G&G combat machine) If not does the brand of said motor matter too much? My gun chrono'd at 370 (give or take 5) last week so wasn't usable, would you guys recommend a new spring or cutting the spring slightly? - Ant
