  1. Lonex is pulling me in, as well as a couple of G&P models. Wacking together a mini list so i can limit it down abit haha
  2. In the new year i will finally be able to upgrade to a more realistic airsoft rifle. And after trawling through tons of guns for ages i eventually decided to stick with an m4 setup. I have already asked a few people and seen a few ideas but i want to look at all my options. Having a bit of time to go i want to be ready when it eventually gets here I am currently using an M4 S-System by JG, And although it performs pretty damm well and has some nice weight to it i would like to move to a more standard M4 that isnt as clunky on the handguards but still has abit of the weight that mine has. (Most people comment on its weight when they pick it up) Im looking for something that is preferably: 1. Mostly metal (for a more real feel, And i like how it feels) 2. Is not as clunky as the M4 S-system but still features a ris/railed handguard 3. Needs little or no upgrades out of the box, My JG actually performs near perfectly for the games i have been to so far. So for the higher price ill be putting into this... Well it needs to work fine to start with And i am NOT technical with internals yet sadly. 4. AEG, I am interested in gas, But i think i prefer AEG for a primary. 5. Blowback is not important if the gun performs well, But realism is always nice. So what brands/Rifs should i feast my eyes upon? There are SO many m4s out there Oh yeah (Edit) - : Budget £200-350 maybe a little more but would be harder.

I just assumed that it would be a common thing at about that V. Was surprised when you said otherwise :P

  6. I have 2 pots of bulldog, The ones solid and really good. The other pot they are a lighter colour and have air bubbles lol. Guessing they WERE good are getting good... or that was a lucky pot. Moved on to trying other suggested brands now but i still use them in our old springers if were sodding about in my tiny garden . Cant use the gas and aegs in our garden sadly, would destroy us haha. Have to walk a few miles to an area we can play for that.
  7. Missed out on festivals and all sorts the last 2 years, Going to miss this too lol. 1y10m old son and a fiancee that works anywhathourswhen at a bookies. which is sad because i really want to get to some of those stalls and stands too
  8. Its possible they meant more, But they wrote 4000 in several places. And like someone else said i just checked their other sales. But either way it was that huge £8 saving that made me smile
  9. When my MK23 arrived i was taking it out of the box, And it was clinging abit causing me to drop it. I caught it but fired it at the same time, Naturally wasn't loaded but it came with a full mag of gas already in the gun with the safety off causing me to do some sort of silly dance. My fiancee managed the same thing with the spare mag we ordered but with the gas release also having a similar effect. And when i first bought an airsoft rifle, I was playing around with the mag. At this point i didnt know what happens when you pull the tiny little spring at the top of the mag.. you know the one. I turned around to my fiancee like hey look... You can pop one round out with this, And proceeded to fire 30 odd rounds directly into her face. Luckily there isnt much force to it but still was worth a laugh afterwards ha ha But there you have it guys... A non sexual story about dropping your load in your mrs face. And the truth about my family accidentally releasing gas at unfortunate moments.
  10. EDIT:- The sale has been removed and the link no longer viable. In case anyone was curious, It was a bag of 4000 golden balls not a special kind either... For over £100 with a saving of £8 . To those who got to see the link, Welcome to the Goldenballsup minority. xD http://www.amazon.co.uk/Golden-Airsoft-round-ProSlick-GB3020W/dp/B00M2U0DG2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406382905&sr=8-1&keywords=golden+balls+.20g Product Description Golden Ball represents quality airsoft BBs at affordable prices. They are perfect for skirmish or competition play. How is buying 4000 rounds for 100 quid saving me 8 quid xD ahahaha. sorry had to share this o.O. The seller probably should remove that part of the product description xD. Its the only bag i can find on the uksite but still.. Ill order that overseas instead.. and i'm sure the bags are different for Goldenballs?
  11. Its possibly they do now. But my dad used to supply our army too... With a bit of coal every now and then. XD
  12. I have already informed them that i travel to an area out there. First thing i did a week or so ago, Someone got arrested in town firing off a handgun(rif) recently. So i told them i would be taking a certain route through town with my guns well packed into their bags. To avoid issue *pictures delayed by storms and rain* The shortcut out to our area flooded abit, And the alternate route is an extra 20-30 minutes walking. Decided to leave it till were actually up there (edit)
  13. Well.... My friends are the same age as me to be fair. Which means they won't be letting their parents fight their battles if they get a tooth shot out. Before we got the site we were practicing in an area not even half the size. We came away from every game covered in welts and little bruises and sometimes abit o blood. The farmer as I have said I have known for years. Unless I shoot his balls on full auto it should be fine. Don't worry about downers or hints, I put this here because I am excited about it and don't want mistakes Oh yeah our mini team kit bag has abit of everything in it incase someone forgets theirs. Got 3 spare masks in there as well as one of those large green first aid kits you find in factories, some gas, ammo, towel, dry food, emergency phone. And the worst spring pistol ever which we make you use if your a muppet or cheat.
  14. Is the spring in the mag not pushing the last one up enough? I know its not uber help but it might just be that simple
  15. I need a half decent holster for an MK23, My current one is too tight and pulls against the slide hard when inserted. Suggestions? :P

      alwaysontheoffensive

i use an mfh leg holster for my m9, works fine, otherwise an osprey m4 pouch its superb as a holster!! ;)

      Lozart

Put your thumb on the back of the slide when you put the gun in. If the holster is too loose it'll just flap about.

Oh i mean its REALLY tight, Cant quite do the catch up to keep it in either haha. I tried another that wasnt quite deep enough too. Found this one a minute ago http://www.autoweapons.com/photos10/aug/holstermk23.html one similar to this would be useful. I have the option to keep the silencer equipped in cqb and also have it all packed neatly away when its secondary only.

  16. The ground is private, A few hunters also have permission for the area but they are not there often and keep to an area further up. Theres a public footpath about 15 minute walk away. Usually bump into the odd farmer wandering down there with his shotgun. Used to be part of our hunting path back before we had to sell our ones. People included are close circle, And also cant go up there without my presence. (Being the one the farmer has known for years) I believe if the general public are complaining to the police then they are trespassing ... And really far from their path
  17. Me and a few chaps have been clearing passages in a small plot of farmland outside of our town. Handily owned by a farmer that i have known since my little days (Dad used to own a farm in the same area). Its not a massive area, But its brilliant for practice and 1v1-2v2-1v3 games. Few features: Has a sort of open but very grown over field to approach from, God knows how many kinds of plants and weeds are growing here. But it all adds up to some nice sneaky approach assist. At the end of the field is a very over grown patch of bushes and trees that we have cleared a few paths and routes through, Multiple options for attackers and defenders to move around and all that. (Including a sneaky ditch crawl and a nice side route hidden in the trees full of natural cover like fallen branches) After the bush part there are some taller trees with a nice clearing, This will be used as a main objective area. Quite open but with raised bits and a nice amount of natural cover growth for concealing. I will add a few pictures of how its going so far later! Were mainly trying to work out the best couple of places to add man made cover such as odd barricades and maybe a basic fort (Square of laid out wood or panels... You know the ones) --- As far as i know this is all good and legal?, There will be no money passed over for playing there. Seeing as its for me and family or friends to practice at, And host our own little private ego battles against each other of course.
  18. ASG MK23 - Abit tackier than i imagined, Worrying with how plastic it is. But performs really well. Mk23 spare mags New mesh lower face guard 2 Large gas - One each for me and my fiancee A cheapish headcam - Not arrived yet, Not got high hopes for amazing quality. But i want the moments more than the whole game. Memories ftw. 2 Rolls Of Camo tape - for my horrific two tone M4, Performs well but you could probably snipe me from mission "go" using it as a beacon. My keepon dancing robot thing - Sara wanted it, Dont know what the cock it is. But it makes you feel guilty if you dont give a crap about it. I also recently got some kingdom airsoft .30 bbs which turned out pretty good. The odd one catches the wind abit but does not seem to be often. Not sure about any issues with them yet, I havent had any fail me by breaking or being deformed yet.
  19. In the end i went for this from various sites ASG MK23 Extra Mags Holster Few cans of abbey gas New lower face mask Thank you everyone for your replies, I watched at least one video and read several reviews for almost all mentioned. So i gained some good insight as well as being able to choose something. Again though confused at setting out for a more expensive one and going practical instead .
  20. http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/categ/529/AIRSOFT-GUNS-PRO some of this isnt too bad
  21. I have been eyeballing all of these suggestions for sometime now. But even though i prefer some of the guns suggested i keep coming back to the ASG MK23. Quick explanation of why: 1. Cheap, Same look as TM. Does not seem to be much of a gap in reliability as the TM either. 2. Due to the cheap price, I can purchase extra mags and have enough left over for some random gear compared to some of the TM guns i am also interested in. I do find it confusing to set out with a budget idea for a more expensive weapon only to end up trapped looking at a cheaper one... I haven't set on this yet but for practical use the extra mags and gear such as a holster for it stands out to me. EDIT - Is it true that the TM mags work with it too?
  22. The ASG version of the MK23 is a hell of a price drop, Does the difference show? And i can see why people keep suggesting that little shotgun But sadly shotguns and stubbie shotguns are not my thing at all . Having used real ones a lot in my life they really need to kick and bang to make me happy lol. Currently At 1. 5.1 Hi capa / Mk23 Socom 2. TM HK45 3. KWA USP (With a comp) I dont know too much about a lot of the brands and could find only love for TM on average. I dont mind others if they match price range really, a few snuck some in already . Naturally prefer an easy aftermarket for any replacements or custom bits. Thanks for all the replies so far, Been helpful to have some to take a proper look at rather than the thousands that are available.
  23. Really liking the MK23 and the 5.1 Hi Capa me thinks. MK23 without blowback on the slide seems practical as well as stylish. 5.1 Something about the blocky solid look draws me too it.. As well as a heap of custom parts popping up everywhere. Edit> This guy interests me greatly in the 5.1 actually xD http://www.eliteshootingcentre.co.uk/Gas%20Guns/Gas%20Pistol%20Parts/Gas%20Pistol%20Parts.htm
  24. 1. 2. 3. The one you consider best = 1 Been looking at quite a few, And find it hard to choose via preference because they all come across quite nice. My price range is £100-£200 MAX on this one. And i have not had the chance to test fire any so as to performance i have been relying on word of mouth, and incredibly varying video reviews.
