One of my M4s will only select auto,, Safety works but it is auto in both of the other positions. WHen I stripped the gearbox shortly after I got it to check it out and refurb (it is an ex rental gun) everything looked ok. I am wondering if the cut off has some wear on it that isn't obvious?

I think we are straying in to areas best left alone!

Suitable for a tanker. You could wear one of those cool M1942 Tanker Jackets and the green overalls, tank helmet and goggles. WOuld be very cool.

Where will you get semi auto or auto weapons in the UK? All you can own in semi-auto is 22 rimfire. You can't own anything in 9mm as that is classed as a pistol round and the ammo is banned. You can own an AR but only single shot working off a manual bolt with no way of converting to semi-auto- so essentially a bolt action rifle based on an AR receiver. You could get hold of the 'Cadet' version of the SA80. They are single shot working off a manual bolt.

Well, I did rebuild the Gearbox, shorten the barrel, respray it, put the Magpul on the front and the stock.

CQB now has it's Holographic and 'flip up' rear sight. Front ssight to go on when I get the new Gas Block. This is the gun my son uses. It's one of the pair of ex-rental CA M15s I got for £12.50 when Gun- Ho closed down. All the other stuff in the picture is the gear he got for his birthday yesterday. </a>
