    Rather than faff around with a new topic: Can anyone recommend a new piston for me? 13:1 high speed SHS gear set, Lonex A2 motor, SHS M90 Spring (335 fps, Version 2 Gearbox (for vfc scar), 9.6v NiMh battery. Stock piston stripped....every single tooth shredded in less than 50 or so rounds!

      Interesting...how does the lighter double o-ring head increase fps? Apols if I'm asking basic questions here....maths and numbres really aren't my strong point!

      Awesome. Tbf, I only use semi-auto; think I probably have used full auto for less than 500 rounds this year in total! I'll het hold of a 18:1 gear set and a new reinforced piston. Thanks for your help :)

      Basically, I upgraded the motor as the stock one was pants. I also upgraded the gear set simply due to the gear going missing. I wanted better trigger response ideally but it was more to help cycle the gun faster on semi as the motor struggled a bit.

      If I install a lesser ratio gear set, will I still have issues with premature engagement? I was going for torque rather than speed in my set up so I'm happy to lose speed to make this work. In fact, only reason I swapped the gear set was because my original gear was lost during a take down!

      Thing is though; its an expensive laminate floor....last thing I want to do is mess it up further haha!! Dont want to swell the wood!

    Good day yesterday at Tac-house spartan...even if I did catch 2 players cheating on my gopro multiple times! Anf of course....my camera wasn't switched on during the game wher I got an epic kill streak! Fuming!

    so I tried out a mates TM vsr. I loved it! however, he spent £700+ on his. Thinking of maybe saving up for an A&K dragunov, and then maybe getting a few parts from aspuk. How well do they shoot and how good is the £40 scope?

      At the moment, it's not great as it's got a back up hop rubber in. The other one accidentally tore when I stripped it down for a clean. Also would benefit from a good inner barrel. I had a madbull python II in there and it was insane but I managed to break the barrel by tightening the screws too tight and they pierced the barrel.

      When it was functioning properly, it was incredible. Had an epic fear factor too when you saw it with the suppressor on. Only selling due to needing fun...

      Yeah it is the viper belt platform. I've got to account for a bandolier for my moscart shells to live on (again...don't judge!) so a yoke could be a good idea. Thanks for all of the input guys :)

      Liking the look of the PLB's.

      I'm guessing they can hold a lot of weight? I run 8 pistol mags, 4 stanags and 2 pistols on my current belt (viper, don't judge!) but the belt loop keeps slackening due to all of the weight and was literally falling off me yesterday.
