    This is stupid as sh*t i can tell, but what are sorbo pads and what do they achieve?

      Sorbo pads are primarily designed to reduce the shock impact on the cylinder head/gearbox. The fact that they can also be used to correct AoE is almost secondary.

      As for what they are, sorbothane is a synthetic elastomer. Mostly used for shock and vibration damping (mountain bike forks, insoles for example).

      Sorbo is better than neoprene.

      The neo washers I use do offer some small but no way as good as sorbo. But an improvement over std AOE & slight impact. Sorbo is not cheap and like many things if you want to it really properly you have to spend a bit more time n money on things. Lozart is 101% correct I will admit that
