Good question, mine is about 18 years old, I'd assume it'll be the proline, and the newer sportline will be different.
-
Classic Army is probably the best TM spec G36, great externals and mostly in spec, gears are a little cheese metal and can strip but easily replaced. Fits a real steel handguard with no mods too, JG always seemed a little different shape and needs some persuasion for it to fit.
-
+1 for Guard Dog Evader 2s, pretty slim for fitting over glasses and looks okay. No issues with fogging. Have you looked into Rx inserts op?
-
Me again I've not seen any replicas of the B&T sling mount, you could probably do a diy replica if you had basic measurements (B&T has a wireframe of the CAD on their webstie iirc) A HK sling mount should be kosher too iirc, and may be easier to find.

Note you will need to change the selector switch as well. The Din markings should be correct but I've found "Full Sans SC 70 Medium" to be closer to the actual markings. I've considered using high quality stickers (like used on simracing wheels) so they can be aligned around the selector switch before removing the upper adhesive cover but not sure they would last long. If you have a TM recoil shock or VFC GBB, you can buy an OEM trigger housing with SEF markings already

No, the TM released after the other brands for the M&P and each platform is completely unique.

They're worth more than the EPM ones to the right person. They're the only replica of the Magpul PMags so KSK impressionists love them. Prices fluctuate from probably £20 each to £50 each as they're so rare they don't come up very often and people are happy to pay silly prices, hence being hard to value. Occasionally they come up cheap (I paid £70 for the 5 I have) so depends how long you want to sit on them ?

A shim and a MOSFET with precocking will probably give a nice boost. Quite a few options for a V3 gearbox and easy to open it up
-
Do you have the .STL/.stp file? You could try JLCPCB
-
XT60 connectors are pretty nice, quite big though
-
Sure if you want to paint it for aesthetic reasons for ahead. You have a Realistic Imitation Firearm and you can customise it as you wish. As other said, you can leave it as is too, possession is not regulated and you already possess it

That's the law, but yes, a lot of retailers don't adhere to it, and you personally won't get any problems with buying one of those 43% a bright colour (pistol slide for example) IFs.

Are there any good budget Plate Carriers on the market?
mp5a4 replied to SharkSurvivor's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Plenty of JPC type carriers (Modi, Flyye etc) for that, maybe even get a beaten up real one for that. Depends what 'look' you want. -
Unless you're making it less than 51% a bright colour and turning it into a RIF. you can modify it how you please.
-
Yes, just buy it and it shows you the fees, often you get a VAT refund a few months after too I've bought some gun 'accessories' and similar, nothing that looks like a rif though. I'm pretty sure Amazon has their internal channels for import anyway so shouldn't have any issues.

I remember it used to be a few years back, before the new classifieds launched. It is nice to have as you always hear the horror stories, and many out there still are happy to pay friends and family...

You are completly correct. I have a few RIFs, no UKARA atm. Doesn't matter if I have it or not though.

I like my Guard dog Evader 2 over glasses, comfy with a fast helmet and mask -
Iirc the G&G G36 magazines are proprietary, only slightly but it's a huge pita, not sure why specifically but the spacing issues you're having might have something to do with it. There's two main versions of G36 hop and magwell, the original TM (CA etc copy it) has the feed tube on the magwell, the alternate version was first done by SRC, and has the tube on the hopup, later JGs copy this but it's pretty uncommon. If you look for a SRC magwell you might have better luck? But the spacing might still be off, G&G G36s were always pretty rare and never caught on so it's hard to find concrete info.

Picked up a Multicam JPC 1.0 and some Lindnerhof pouch replicas off the forum, working towards a 2014 KSK kit; first time i've been pretty happy with my PC setup

Mechanix gloves : M-Pact vs Fast Fit
mp5a4 replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I run fast fits pretty much all the time, it stings but nothing unbearable (actually using Mechanix Vent ATM). I've had some m-pacts and don't find the protection obstructive or annoying, but fast fits are just more simple easy to chuck on and off. If I was running cqb all the time I'd probably be taking the m-pacts though. Fwiw I've never paid more than £16 for fastfits, and although they don't fall apart, they're not the strongest pair of gloves in the world (same goes for the m-pacts tbf) -
^^ That's what I have believed, iirc there was a brief period the non sportline Umerex became the S&T too, had some quality issues and then went back to Ares, quite believable the trades could be underneath Specna ones if it was a run intended for Umerex... or they were too cheap to change the molds, same goes if they're just the sportline models not branded as Umerex HK too. The WE one is not too common, but I've heard is fantastic, basically the best of the Ares (externals and better replica / more real steel compatibility) with the normal V3, at that price i'd go with the everytime, extra cool points it's the K length too, and not the typical G36C. It's pretty tricky to buy a bad G36 these days, the 'worst' replica for external quality is the JG 608 models, but the internals are a tank, will run forever, everything else is basically an improvment. Best TM spec externals imo is the Classic Army, but the internals kinda cheese, basic V3 though so easy to tech. There's a few oddballs like the G&G and ICS which have some unique bits, but are still pretty great replicas.
-
Great decision, g36 platform is a joy The JG is super solid, but as you say is quite high in price for a budget gun, the base Cyma and high speed are both great too. Another option to look at is the specna arms ones, they're an Ares clone with ebb, not exactly TM spec but there's plenty of parts out there too.
-
It's only a RIF if it 'has an appearance that is so realistic as to make it indistinguishable, for all practical purposes, from a real firearm;' Parts do not meet this, so are not covered (I have a vague recollection of something referring directly to parts too, but can't find it rn). Selling parts to different people is fine, and doesn't need a defence.
