  1. If you intend to buy a pew eventually you could buy a couple of hicaps for the hire gun you use, if it's a G36C then the mags will be cheap enough but might not work in a pew you do buy, if it's an AR you hire then any mags you buy will fit 99% of pews you guy & are cheap too. p.s. buy a couple of hicaps (one each) when you buy your own pew you'll decide the type you prefer long term.
  2. Despite saying ignore all of our advice, I have more for you... Don't spend much time in her company, stay friends but no ghosting, you're now in the friend zone & spending time together will only hurt you. She'll move on & you'll see it happen but your feelings will never let you move on at the same pace. I'm sure your Dad will have his own fatherly advice, feel free to heed his advice.
  3. I'd be interested in where you got the handguard & torch mount please?
  4. I've only been with my employers since Feb & now selling more pies than I ever dreamt of a few months ago, limited range but well chuffed as they're my own design/recipe. Galloway scotch pies Mince & onion bridies (deffo my fav) Steak & gravy pies & Traditional Scottish Steak pies Big uns, to small uns. But this is a pew forum so... pew, pew, pew p.s. shiny pie ashets will prob scare off most wildlife (just make sure they're empty & washed or you'll attract the wildlife).
  5. Yeah, I learned that after getting the WG Field gear, no regrets tho as I'm happy with it (especially after getting the belt 'adjusted' to go round my fat gut).
  6. I've got a Jg T3 MC51 that I've yet to skirmish but getting it inspired me to get the West German Field Gear, it's a cheap AEG but feels pretty good and fires at 1.08j 339.9fps on .2's Now wondering if it's butt stock would fit the G3A4 I have to make a 'proper' G3, along with my other unfinished pew plans it'll need to wait until I can be arsed.
  7. Got a plentiful supply this time of year... I'm a butcher in Scotland (can't keep up with the demand & it's not even New Year yet.).
  8. about 1.5m at it's deepest, 50cm at it's shallowest & 4m x 2m, I promise my 'range' has been weeded since this pic was taken, unfortunately the lilac tree was blown down recently.
  9. Did Mrs Clause get the scope & mount too?
  10. Thanks, I've seen other koi keepers do the same, my pond is natural so I prefer to use the natural cover, a neighbour has fake owls on their shed & I think they're close enough to deter the herron as it's not been back (to my knowledge). My Dad lives in the middle of nowhere & has had a pond for a over 20 years where several species have raided it of simply fallen in... otters, herron, cats, dogs & donkeys to name a few. Dunno what size bird of prey he'd need to deter a donkey.
  11. I've got the TM MP7 with this style of battery & keep getting it mixed up with the one from my MAC10, they're slightly different lengths despite being the same fitting & type. so Measure twice... cut once, the barrel end cap won't fit with the longer one.
  12. I've never been keen on MP5 selectors, kind of turn & twist at the same time IMO.
  13. My Grandad got into building RC planes after he contracted bird fanciers lung (showed canaries for years), always had a magnet on a string, took me years to realise why.
  14. Just nod once if you need us to call someone?
  15. You'll need a bigger loft. & Thanks for the reminder, got my ticket now too.
  16. Ok, what's everyone hoping Santa will bring them (pew wise), even if we need to help him/them/her with the finances? I'm hoping for a tan/fde pew, possibly a 417 or a Scar-H
  17. Struggling for the 'right' place for it TBH but I'll find somewhere to display it. Works like a trooper but OMG think I'll need double sided sticky tape on my gloves to rack it in game. Oh, and... NO.
  18. I think I'd be too busy admiring the fox to want to scare it, but... I had a Herron scoping out my pond earlier this year & my first reaction was to load up a pew to scare it off if it started snacking on my koi, I like/love wildlife too much to want to hit it but would have certainly tried to scare it if it got too close. Thankfully it flew away but OMG it was fantastic to see even if was a danger to my fish.
  19. Time to get these sold, pop them in the classified & I'll see if I can help with ths dilema.
  20. Any vistors that may need into my mancave (not a euphemism(or is it?)are always fore warned that my pews are all replicas or props.
