Yes, comes with pretty convincing trades. I got mine from Defcon. No complaints with their service, but worth noting that they use UPS for delivery - may be a deciding factor for some people. Looks like a good solution. I’d say the battery space is the only down side I’ve come across so far.

Finally got a chance to test mine today and I’m VERY impressed! As you said, it actually rips! Runs very nicely on an 11.1 20C - super snappy and the gearbox sounds very happy. Accuracy is exceptional with the stock internals and hops 0.32s beautifully. I bought a super macron and omega nub to put in it as I wasn’t expecting much from the stock setup, but I’m more than happy with it so will save those for another day/project. For £180 it’s a fantastic RIF.

That looks awesome! 🤩 my bank balance better brace itself…

Ah perfect 👌Thanks. I might have to do a little purchase to fill the rattler shaped hole in my life. Can’t justify the cost of the APFG or GBB life.

I smaller the better in my opinion 😬🤣 What make/model is your stumpy-boi? Quite fancy one to go along side my TM NGRS

This sounds very interesting 🤔 Not a great deal of information online though it seems. Looks like it comes with a PEQ15 style battery box - I’m guessing there’s no chance of running a battery in the handguard then? Also, does it have a threaded outer barrel to run a suppressor/muzzle device?

That’s looks pretty slick. What it like for battery space? Looks tiiiiight 😬

Used them for the first time last week for some PDI and ML bits and was impressed. Reasonable prices and no flat rate for P&P which is refreshing, especially when you only need a few small bits.

Ah ok. Could you elaborate on this for me please? Still pretty new to this Lipo battery business. I’ve always used the 11.1 20c with that rif (as I did the previous owner I assume as that was the battery supplied with it) and 95% it functions fine (except the occasional double feed/over spin when the 20c is 100%) The problem was me purchasing a couple spare batteries and not checking the specs fully and ending up with the 25c. Genuine question, so hopefully that doesn’t read as me being arsey, because I’m really not 😂 Like I say, still pretty new so keen to learn.

What’s the discharge rate of the 11.1? My Krytac Trident SPR does this and I have concluded that it’s the batteries causing the issue… So, I accidentally bought 25C instead of 20C 11.1s and the higher discharge rate seems to cause the motor to overspin on semi, causing the exact symptoms to you describe. Using a 20C 11.1 and I have next to no issue… Now I say next to no issue because a fully (100%) charged 20C will cause the problem also, but significantly less often and the problem goes away once the battery has discharged a bit. Hopefully it’s the same issue for you and not something trickier.

Good topic! One day I will be treating myself to one of these, so no doubt this information will be invaluable 😬🤣

Think I may have found the actual reason I’ve been having feeding issues with my RIF. After watching a disassembly video of the NGRS MP5, I noticed that mine is missing the spring that fits over the inner barrel and puts pressure on the hop unit when the outer barrel is installed. There is small amount of free play back and forth without it and I think may be causing misalignment with the feed lips on the mags. Any idea where I might be able source a replacement?
-
The trouble is my local site insists on bios, so I need to find some that are half decent and feed reliably 😩
-
Any one else run into feeding issues with certain BBs Only just got mine and had nothing but issues. Using some bios that I’ve not used before so I’m hope if it’s just that. Initially slight forward pressure on the bottom of the mag helped but now it’s just random whether it will feed on not.

Looking for rough idea of what you guys think this would be worth and also how I can tell what size the carrier is? I’ve looked everywhere of a tag that might indicate the size but to no avail…my guess is that it’s a medium but wouldn’t want to mislead any potential buyer. Sale would include: - WAS DCS carrier - WAS Assaulter back panel - 8x WAS 556 mag pouches (1 not pictured) - 2x WAS GP pouch (not pictured) - 1x WAS radio pouch - 1x unknown brand med pouch - 1x unknown brand drop down phone/atac holder Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Will drop them and email and see if they have anything on the horizon. Looking at the price on the Fire-Support website, looks like the ICS might be a little over budget, especially considering I will need to get a few mags etc. but the burst fire might be quite nice to have… 🤔 I see. Good to hear they’re making a comeback, and hopefully their new stock will be of the same quality as the old, tried and tested units 🤞 I think this might be the way to go if I can’t justify stretching to the ICS - it’s within budget, so allows for a few mags and a couple new batteries, and maybe a few extra little niceties… Parts look to be pretty easy to get hold of like you say.
-
Interesting, I will have to look into these. Any idea when they might be available again? A little over my budget from first glance but may be worth the extra for the superior materials. This is the exact thing I would like to try and avoid. I’ve not come across Classic Army before (probably my noobishness), so will certainly have a look into these. I’m guessing you would place this somewhere in the middle between the ICS and say the Cyma offerings?
-
Likewise. I really shouldn’t, but they’re just so freaking cool! I must own one! 😆

I probably should have specified an AEGs, although that may well be self explanatory given my budget 😞 Thanks for the recommendation, will go and have a look at these 🔍
